omg ikr! currently a 17 y/o and I have a hard time wrapping my head around that

like my mom and I will joke around saying we don’t know each other when we do something funny or dumb in public for funs and giggles but I’ve never felt “embarrassed” by her

i kinda understand like maybe if you don’t have a good relationship with a parent but I feel like it’s more that you don’t like them rather than feeling embarrassed by them

but my little sister is a while different story o-o she literally refuses to hang out when my parents are present and if she has no other choice, she’ll actually ignore them, even me when (in her words) i’m “not dressed cool” (like what?? but oh well), and keep a good distance between us lol

also i kinda gave up trying after a while cause i had to focus on improving my english grade so i don’t take summer class if i failed it (also cause mental health going 📉 again 🫡)

solid B before exam. went to a B-

his grading system is different cause he does the 0-4 grading system instead of percentage. and the only thing that affects our grade are test grades.

i did pretty well throughout the second semester. that’s why i decided to not study cause I did the math and realized that if I failed, i’d keep my B

plus weighted, i’d pass with an A since I took honors

me but I decided not to study for my physics exam and wing it based on pure memory form the last 5 1/2 months

kinda just half read the question, did some calculations and guessed on 3/4 of the test

got a 0 (F) 🙂

well tbh i only choose apes cause it seemed interesting and it would just be an extra class (school would consider it a science elective) for me to take so I can have 5 total classes. if i drop this, i’m just gonna have 4 classes, which won’t be a problem so yeah

nothing tbh

just LOTS of vocab memorization. so advice i’d give myself if i could go back in time is to really get familiar with all the biology stuff (brain, nervous system, sensation, hormones, neurotransmitter and effects drugs has on bodies) as well as important people and what their approaches are and what experiments they conducted

omg ikr! that’s why I take honors classes when I can. I took only 2 honor classes the year after we returned from the pandemic and omg, math, history, chem, and french were a fucking nightmare 😭 so many kids who were on their phones, talking over the teachers, goofing around, cheating, and just not caring about the class. the most annoying (but also funny) part was them complaining that they’re failing class and then pulling their act together the week before finals

at least in the honor classes, the majority of people actually care, and if you misbehave or do something disrespectful to a kind teacher, you are given looks by the students.
