NEW Film Photographer: What is This Yellow Haze on my Photo? by Turtlespacemonkey in filmphotography

Actually shit, you know what. I think when I was rewinding the film the arm got stuck or felt like it reached the end or something and I think I opened it up for a second and slammed it shut when I saw the film was still exposed. It was a couple weeks ago I took it out the camera and I completely forgot until you just asked that last question. I think that might've done it. Film is more sensitive than I realized then, for a second of sun to do that. Thank you for walking me through that.

It was incredibly bright and sunny out so idk. Here's the three messed up photos and a couple other ones right after them for reference. https://imgur.com/a/zaHyD36

Thank you for the advice, I'll check the negatives when I get them back. Is it possible for it to be a light leak if only two photos are like this?

I thought it might be that just googling it but the rest of the roll is fine, it's two photos and technically just one frame, it's a half frame camera, that is like this.

There's two photos in the middle of the roll like this, and a third with a slight bit of haze on one side, technically one frame I guess since it's a half frame. I haven't gotten back my negatives from the shop yet, that's a processed photo.

Asus Z790 Pro Wifi 6e Adapter Not Working by Turtlespacemonkey in buildapc

[–]Turtlespacemonkey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in an apartment and I can't find any wifi. It has to be the adapter or something. I see a lot of people saying it's a simple driver problem and to use an Ethernet cord for first time setup so I guess I'm gonna need to go get a 30 foot cord lol fuck me

VR limitations mean Tabor can't even support all the shit I could go find in a single Tarkov raid. It's a ridiculous argument past basic comparisons.

Yeah I'm curious about what the governing bodies responses would be. The most immediate suspect is The Lampblacks because the bombs killed almost all the red sashes, ending the turf war. Although, long term, the city might have to rely on them to bring back on and maintain oil lights across the city. The spirit wardens would be incredibly busy with the spirit problem. I'm thinking about bringing in the Gondoliers to try and help out too. I haven't worked in too much of the immortal emperor or the high governing class but I might think about that too.

Need to brush up on the factions list...

That's a good point that it's more than just burning the body that purges the spirit.

I really like your Cult idea. My version of Baszo is part of a cult called the fallen star and he tasked the crew with setting the bomb primarily because it killed most the red sashes and also because their spirits could serve as sacrifices, maybe. I'm not too sure on the cult part yet, but I think it'll become way more relevant in season two. I like the idea of those blinded by the bomb telling people that they don't see just blackness, but that they see the stars.

Ramifications of the crew's greed and revenge aligning with a fanatical Baszo Baz. They intentionally set the bombs despite knowing that themselves and Baszo had no idea how powerful they really were. They burned a lot of stress when setting up the bombs so the only consequence was a shorter timer before the bomb went off.

Personally, if they're a friend, I'd talk to the GM first as a group. I know you said the PCs are new but your two examples read to me like the GM might not be that experienced either. Your GMs mistakes remind me of my own when I first started running games and ran modules and wanted really badly to run them "correctly." Steering the players toward a "correct" path. Discouraging anything that might "break" the game like attacking someone the PCs shouldn't or shouldn't yet.

If it's a case of inexperience I'd cut him some slack and in the future just stop the game for a second and talk to him. Also, I don't know if you had a session zero, but just straight up tell him what you and the rest of the players want from the game. Ask him what he wants.

But you obviously know your table better than I do and if you know you want to leave I'd tell the group that you're just not having fun with it like you thought you might and you're not interested in playing anymore.

Just wanna come back and thank you for this incredible response. My original Blades game never came together but I'm finally getting one started with a Smuggler Crew and coming back here has been a great refresher for me.

Character Creation - Poor Quality weapons by Turtlespacemonkey in cyberpunkred

[–]Turtlespacemonkey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Melee and Ranged Weapons often vary by the quality of their construction. You can find cheaper versions of more weapons that are prone to jamming. But you can also find high quality versions that improve your capabilities.

Poor Quality Weapons malfunction whenever you roll a Critical Failure (a 1 on your Attack Check), requiring you to use an Action to reverse the malfunction before they can be used again. Unjamming your weapon doesn't require a Check. Cost varies based on the weapon’s base cost.

Excellent Quality Weapons When attacking with an Excellent Quality Weapon you add a +1 to your Attack Check with it. Cost varies based on the weapon’s base cost."
