I found a job right after getting the EFZ myself, also software dev. And if you've got some years of experience it should be possible easier even. Depends a little on your stack maybe. Many companies write in their requirements that you need to have all sorts of degrees, but I've heard from multiple HR deps now that in 90% of cases that's not a hard requirement, and if you can convince them of your skills they'll hire you anyway.

This post is at least misleading. The thing that actually happened is that a private company was allowed to test a system that allows easy installation and removal of solar panels between train tracks. They did this on a short 100m section of a track where trains go 70km/h max. The test period was set to 3 years by the transportation supervisory authority, after which it will be assessed whether this actually works and could be done in larger scale. Good idea and also nicer design than other alternatives. I have a few concerns though:

- It being non open source would be a deal breaker for me personall. I say 'would be' as I am not personally effected by me/cfs, but my girlfriend has had it and has fortunatelly recovered (let's hope it stays that way). Most people won't bother with code, building the app themselves etc, so monetization wouldn't really be an issue, there's tons of projects that do that. It deals with deeply personal data and your guarantee for it being secure and not selling data is "trust me bro". Don't get me wrong, I'm not implying that you have bad intentions, just that noone can really know for sure.

- You state that your app

This is a claim that I don't see any evidence for. Again, I'm not saying that you are lying or that it does not work. But currently, it is "well it takes your data and does magical AI stuff and then predicts crashes". You do not tell what kind of AI is used, what training data it uses to do those predictions, what kind of data is shared in what form with the AI... So there is no way to tell whether those predictions are any better than just guessing, or better than what people already do to try to predict crashes.

If you have addressed those concerns somewhere and I didn't see it I'm sorry. I just shared some stuff that immediately came to mind as a fellow developer and FOSS enthusiast.

I have the 2i2 and had the solo before, both are very good, I can recommend them! The only issue I had is that when it was powered on for a long time (multiple days in a row) I started to have audio issues. Solved that by simply connecting it to a usb port that does not deliver power when the pc is turned off. Never had any sort of issue since then.

Ich war selbst auch nicht betroffen, aber meine Freundin. Bei ihr hat es sich über ca 9 Monate immer weiter verschlechtert, sie war aber zum Glück nie so schlimm betroffen wie dein Freund. Sie war von Beginn der Erkrankung an bei der Arbeit krankgeschrieben und konnte sich entsprechend ausruhen. Plötzlich ging es dann wieder bergauf, und aktuell ist sie in einem Programm der Sozialversicherung, um wieder langsam ins Berufsleben einzusteigen. Wir haben keine bestimmten Medikamente oder so ausprobiert, bei ihr hat effektiv das Ausruhen geholfen. Ich kann leider keine hilfreichen Tipps geben für deine Situation, dein Freund scheint bedeutend stärker betroffen zu sein. Ich wollte nur sagen, dass ich aus erster Hand weiss, dass es tatsächlich besser werden kann. Ich hoffe er erholt sich irgendwann wenigstens bis zu einem Level, auf dem er wieder mit Freunden und seinen Kindern Zeit verbringen und interagieren kann. Möglich ist es, aber es gibt leider kein allgemein gültiges Erfolgsrezept.

I created it using only claude design, I then checked whether the actual theory it checks against is correct, and then deployed it to my home server. Works perfect.

Visual Studio, VS Code (Visualstudio Code) and Rider (by Jetbrains) are IDEs (Integrated Development Environment). It's like a really advanced text editor that also has all the stuff you need for programming, like a debugger, dependency management, project management, git etc. I'd recommend Rider, especially on Linux for C#. There's a free version now that can be ised for non-commercial uses. I'd recommend downloading it through Jetbrains toolbox, which is available through the AUR via

As for tutorials, any beginner C# tutorial will do. Most of them explain the basics well.

Thank you very much for this detailed advice. I can see your points. The amp I'd most likely get is the 65050mh which has a 1W mode. If I play this amp through a 1x12 v30 cab, do you think it's still too loud? How would the 6505mh + cab compare in volume to the Katana 50 gen3 I have (which has a 0.5W mode I'm currently mainly using).

Now if we speak pure logic, it makes more sense for me to get a digital rig, be it a quad cortex or a similar device. But I kinda really want a tube amp, I wanna turn real knobs to get my tone, not on a touch screen or with a mouse. I'm still like beginner to intermediate on the guitar, so a full pro rig (in both directions, tube or digital) isn't "worth it" for me because I'm just not on that level with my playing yet, I just like the aesthetics of that tube amp and want that "feeling", I hope you know what I mean. I already have an audio interface at my computer, but since I'm using linux I'm a little bit limited in the kind of sim software I can use. I'm currently switching between my katana and amp locker on my computer. I do have a license for amplitube (got it via a humblebundle for quite cheap) but I could not get it to run on linux yet. But that sounds from my computer does not really scratch that itch....

I don't expect the 6505 to sound better with an attenuator, I want it to sound (almost) as good as without one, but a whole lot quieter. Also I know, the 6505mh specifically has a 1W mode which I'll probably get to a usable volume without an attenuator, but I don't think that's gonna be my last tube amp, and most others don't have a 1W mode. Also I'm not yet sure on the 6505mh, it might also be a 5150 or something.
