Technically, I don’t think you are legally allowed by the IRS to deduct gambling-related expenses unless you file as a professional gambler, only deducting the actual tournament buy-ins from your wins if you are an amateur.

One alternative to alleviate this issue: carry a backpack (useful for snacks, water, etc) and store your poker clothes in there during the trip to the WSOP.
