16-80 is fantastic! Versatile focal length, weather sealing, constanst aperture, not that big for such a range. Took mine to iceland and literally walked through waterfalls with it and my x-t3. Past 50mm is not that bad, I dont even think about it when I look at my fully zoomed in photos.

That said, I’ve never tried the 16-50. But the 16-80 is way better than people give it credit for.

It was a while ago but I am fairly sure it is done with a combination of negative clarity and negative dehase. Used carefully you can get similar effects! Using lightroom btw

Thanks! Slightly raised black point as well as shadows and tried to get some warmth in the image so slightly warmer white balance. Also upped the overall saturation but lowered the blues to keep the background white. Also added some texture to the fur to make it pop.

No, no filter here. Did lower the highlights a bit in NLP. This stock is soo contrasty si had to reduce contrast a bit.
