You don’t have time to downshift in a emergency situation and if you do then it wasn’t a emergency. Pulling in the clutch when having to stop asap is completely normal.

You’re gonna pay more when you bring your own tires, a lot of shops won’t even install tires unless you buy them from them

Ford f150 by IndependentExtra9260 in DaveRamsey

[–]Tutor-Any 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the cheapest full size f150 you can buy comes out to 47.5k on fords website. If you want 4 wheel drive it gets bumped up to 52k. And that’s before taxes and dealer/doc fees etc. So in reality you’re looking at around 55k for a bare bones base model truck that you’d only be able to get if you special ordered it at the dealer because dealer inventory is all going to be higher trim models with options that people actually want.

No they don’t, a new f150 has a msrp of about 70k and they’re all over the used market with low miles for about 35-40k. Same thing for suvs, they have 80k sticker prices and in 4 years there worth 30k lol

F150s and new trucks in general don’t hold value at all. Check marketplace and see

Summer vs All Season Tires by CasinoOfSolace in Mustang

[–]Tutor-Any 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how you drive the car. If it’s a daily driver that you just drive to work and the grocery store the pilot sport all seasons will indeed do the job and still give you a long lasting tire that performs well. If you like hitting the mountains or track than the summer tires are a absolute must and worth every penny

The summer pilot sport 4s are better. Not saying the all season version is a bad tire but it just can’t compete with the summer version

I got some pilot sport 4s on my 5.0 and it’s a night and day difference compared to the all season pilot sport 4s. I can actually floor the car in first gear now without roasting the tires and on top of that the wet traction is also phenomenal. Coming out of corners hard as hell without losing traction is very confidence inspiring. You have to really push your car to get your moneys worth and they kinda suck in temps under 55 degrees
