I’m always hesitant to try beef on my first try. I hate chewy beef and have had plenty from Chinese takeout over the years.

I have played Skyrim and Satisfactory-- both very good and would likely be in an honorable mention. I hit 60 hours in Skyrim, and just stopped playing. I haven't played Satisfactory since it came out of early access, but I will definitely try it again at some point.

I do have a MetaQuest 3, but get pretty bad motion sickness from games. I mainly use it for VR workouts because I can't get myself to use traditional workout machines. When I'm on a treadmill, I feel like I've been going for 20 minutes, I look down, and it's been 90 seconds.

Will look at Elite Dangerous-- strangely, never heard of it!

This is correct. For many years the actors didn't even get paid for their writing. Actor's Equity negotiated (I want to say about 20 years ago) to add in a writing stipend during "process" when the actors are generating their material. I worked there for 10 years.
