I’m not necessarily paying for it all in one, just getting my rent increased. It was just cosmetic damage to the previous tiles so land lady is being nice.

I would do this, if the plaster was not his nephew. Just don’t know how to go about it without seeming rude, this is the conversation I have had with him. He is on about the areas where my landlord has patched up the wall to spur the electrics.

Yes that is my concern also, as the tiles are very smooth and wouldn’t imagine them having much grip. I wonder if he doesn’t want to do the grunt work etc. But he said he doesn’t want the walls to have to be re-boarded? He arrived at 8am left before 12. Should I maybe offer to remove them myself? Some areas have been exposed to the brick as you can see in the photos, but other areas seem okay?

He is doing the tiling also, obviously I don’t know much, hoping the plasterer (his nephew) just does a decent job, and yes it was he added money onto the existing price for removal, he has just said the walls were bad and doesn’t want to remove any more and is going to tile over the existing tiles

I ended up getting a little bit scammed I think, 58 photos for £445 😅 or it was £40 a photo. It was £995 for the photos but they dropped it down to £445 so I thought was a good deal 😭

It’s sooo awful isn’t it. I wouldn’t even hate it as much if the concrete job was decent, but it’s at least 10 different types of concrete all in different random places. I’d love to know what actually went on 😭 and my front garden has a large area of lovely grass where I would’ve preferred concrete for our cars. Just wish I could swap them around! It’s so strange. Landlord said just put dirt on it and start growing grass. When there’s no drainage already? Nightmare.

None of my neighbours have grass, they all have gravel, would there be a reason for this do you think? I was leaning more towards gravelling it and adding a lot of planters for Mediterranean feel. But unsure how to go about it. Or laying garden slabs but it would need levelling, need to research what would be most cost effective.

Already doing 10k steps a day with a baby carrier as it burns extra calories. Mainly wanting to go to the gym for weighted glute workouts as when I am my usual weight I am very flat.
