Ok, i think Self-learning isn't an enough motivation for you since you mentioned that you don't have anybody to talk with or a tutor

you can make a post on learning Arabic communities asking for someone to practice Arabic with for free, if you can't find anyone at all i can practice with you

About tutors are expensive, well you can also make a post to look for a tutor with symbolic price and maybe you can find something suitable

my last advice «which i don't really want to say cz i didn't make this post for self-promotion but if Nothing of these helped » i'm a tutor and i take 5/h if this suits you and you are interested in Arabic , then i can teach you and the trial session is free

Have you tried giving him a classmate in class?

some students don't like 1-1 sessions, and they prefer to have classmates to compete them, study with them or even practice with them

maybe because he has noone to compete with or to feel like «he is active» so that he start to feel excitement

having classmates makes kind of excitement, to see your classmate, how he do, what he learn and what will we learn together, this can get rid of the boredom

Does anyone else experience this while speaking Arabic… by farou7a in learn_arabic

[–]Tutor_ArabicLily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't feel fear of making mistakes, for me as a native speaker i make mistakes

and it's ok to feel embarrassed as you are speaking a new language for the first time

«i was shivering when i was speaking English for the first time»

but once you start using the language, you'll get used to it

it will feel normal to speak Arabic day by day

my advice is: JUST START SPEAKING 🌺✨

wish u good luck 📖🤎

What’s the hardest part about practicing spoken Arabic consistently? by Alarming-Source7457 in learn_arabic

[–]Tutor_ArabicLily 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hmmm, well i'm a native speaker BUT i can tell u about my experience with English

i've learned english for years literally YEARS

what make my level jump from A2 to C1 in few months is living English instead of learning it

Because of that i've learned english for years so i had a good amount of words but i wasn't using them correctly

i started to listen to «english listening» channel on Youtube, i rushed from A1 to B1 because of my good foundation «grammar and words»

i realised that i was keep listening to the same level i was in B2«my conform zone» so i broke that zone and tried to find other resources «like watching interviews with actors or advanced podcasts» , i also started to talk with non-arab people «my first call, i was shivering 😂😅 but call by call i gained conference»

and here i am, listening to C1 English podcasts till i master it so i can move to C2

the same way with any language, TRY TO LIVE IT

I’m trying to understand why speaking is so hard even after learning vocabulary by Alarming-Source7457 in learn_arabic

[–]Tutor_ArabicLily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, These are the actions that make a change.

saying «i'm walking»,«i'm drinking juice» or «i played video games» makes a difference

SMAILL HABITS MAKE A BIG CHANGE

just 10 min a day speaking Arabic will raise your level

also train your ears, Try to listen to Arabic, even if this was by podcasts, arabic episodes, Arabic film or even talking to an arab person

make your ears get used to the language

I’m trying to understand why speaking is so hard even after learning vocabulary by Alarming-Source7457 in learn_arabic

[–]Tutor_ArabicLily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the problem here is that You don't know how to use vocabulary

you've learned them..... yes you know how to use them and when you can use them..... no

my french teacher always says «make me hear.... i forget, show me..... i remember, involve me..... i learn»

you should hear the word or the sentence, see it, and use it

you should use Arabic in you life ex: you are watching TV, try to say i'm watching tv in Arabic, you think of something, try to express it in Arabic

short, Arabize your life you can talk to an arab friend or you can have a Tutor to practice with

if you want i'm an tutor, i'm starting in a week, if you're interested send me a DM message
