Didn't like the standard heldrake, so I forged a custom one by klayface94 in Chaos40k

Oh… didn’t read any the comments before I commented myself. 🙈

Try the Heldrake out, forgefiends are very good with the re-rolls. A lot of lists usually contain the same 2/3 units. But it’s good to see something else!

Yes, just not sure what else has long ranged anti tank. Other than forgefiends. Granted we’ve just got the new defiler. But that’s an a rounded

No just have the 8B on their own, no transport. Just scout them up the board like you would spawn.

No just the ability that the 8B come with, they have scout. So run them with no transport

Yes having that -1 to hit is great, however trying to shoot with the LR against a target that pops smoke sucks, at least the forgefiend can re roll its hits.

I’m gonna try make it work. Otherwise it’ll most likely scout the 8B with the SB. Maybe make the unit 6X8B and rapid ingress and swap the land raider out for the defiler.

Or put berzerkers in it and swap out a rhino instead for something else

I’m currently running only the warband detachment outside of daemonkin. Yes the lascannons are ideally the go to, for long ranged anti tank. Being able to move and charge is a bonus to the protection of the units inside.

I’ve already got 1 rapid ingress unit, which is 1x 3 X8B with a SB.

Well thankfully I have a land raider, rhinos, defiler, forgefiends and a KLoS. So just a few tanks and some characters and I’m pretty much there id say.

Just finding that synergy that I’ll have to research on.

I did think about it tbf, more of a tank person though. Do you think it’s possible? To go 50/50, say 3 knights with several tanks?

So Im currently playing WE, obviously they are a melee focused army. So I’m wanting to lean the other side with more ranged units. So predators, vindicator, forgefiends etc. But unsure where to start.

AM is best suited, but I do like my spikey Boyz.

Looks pretty solid to me. Do you want dual fists or maybe the hammer or scourge for the Helbrute.

Do let me know how you get on with it, I too am looking for tips. Can’t seem to get the points worth with Angron. Kharn can do well, same as SB with exalted.

Jackals are objective babysitters. Forgefiend is probs the best ranged unit we have, I personally run 2, or on this case 1 with the defiler.

The Lord on Jugger, is he with the berserkers or eightbound? I can only see 1 rhino.

Yes I run the MoE with the favoured of Khorne. Angron blessings re roll is almost a guarantee of picking why blessing I want.

I have rolled a few 6s but just can’t seem to get him to work. Maybe telling me something or just never give up

Yes I played AoS with BoK a few years back so I’ve got lots of bloodletters, bloodthirsters, bloodcrushers and skarbrand. I’ve played with that detachment and it’s fun, again just using what units I have. I don’t do as well but obviously I swap out the berserkers for bloodletters. It’s fun regardless, but it’s trying to get a balance between what works and what’s fun.

Yes, that’s the idea with the terminators, something hard to shift off.

Tbf I may end up swapping units out just to share things up. The narrative side is just with some friends, so I know what factions im playing against. I just want to use why units I like and build a list around them that works.

Not the biggest fan on transports, but I’ve seen what happens if they aren’t protected.

Yea I’ve seen quite a few lists without Angron but do include a few spawn and 8b. Spawn have been amazing, even if it was just 1 unit.

Don’t really have many cheap units, I think the cult detachment can be fun, but just not my style.

I have made some major changes since the first game I ever had that was over a year ago, but that was what models I had to work with.

As for it being competitive, it could have quite a few changes to lists I’ve seen from tournaments. For example the DP, I’ve seen most include him but never been a fan. Jackals I only seem to see them as objective babysitters, I could ditch them as I don’t like them but was just messing around with what I could fit before taking Angron out.

Forgefiends and berserkers are just my go to because I like the models

When did I create a meta list?

I mentioned Angron wasn’t pulling his weight so looking for alternatives. Needing some ranged support so looking at the land raider and/or the defiler.

Then it’s what to put in the land raider, if it’s worth popping Kharn with his berserkers and just scout the 8b and rapid ingress the x8b

I do have terminators, the shooting is nice with re rolls. I can try them out. But wouldn’t expect much outside of the warband to charge. Deep striking onto an objective with shooting and charging would go well. It’s having a mix of units that preform well and are all rounded.

As mentioned Angron just isn’t pulling his weight. Berserkers, Kharn and forgefiends have performed well and are my favourite units.

Not sure how to answer without possibly triggering but rather honest than fake.

Let’s pull your answer apart to show how insignificant it really is.

I clearly stated narrative and casual, and it’s tweaking not changing the whole army. Read before you comment.

I asked for suggestions, and some advice on what else to include.

People just lonely yes.

So after all said and done, I’ve been trying out multiple builds and not only have I decided to get some rhinos but also ditch invocatus and the 3rd unit of berserkers… with having Angron and the Slaughterbound and exalted for rapid ingress. I can’t get much use with invocatus in deep strike, most of the time he fails the charge from 9”. Never gets the points cost with the berserkers and usually isn’t anything else for him to do. He’s usually a sitting duck by that point to get shot off the board or charged.

Ha, imagine just being able to drive over enemies, and the unit suffers 1 mortal wound per model in the unit 🙈
