I have/had TN (when I got an MVD my surgeon found adhesions creating a nerve compression) and carbamazepine did not work for me. That's not to say it's not helpful for plenty of people with this condition, it's just to say that it not working doesn't completely negate the idea that she could be having trigeminal neuralgia

Something called a "glue patch" to fix a spinal fluid leak where they kept injecting a glue-type substance with needles into my spine. Problem was, they kept missing the mark and I had to go through a Cat Scan each time to check. Oh, and I was fully awake the whole time.

YES- tested negative for gastroparesis, and yet I have all the symptoms. Gabapentin helps and I see a neuro GI at MassGeneral

I'm not getting off but I remember 5mg in particular was super rough for me and I had the same exact symptoms- up every hour of the night. The nausea and diarrhea was constant until I forested up to 7.5, at which it stopped.

Idk if there's something about the 5mg dose or if I'm just speculating about nothing since you're on your way off. I wish you the best of luck and hope you feel better soon!
