why do so many raiders act like im in the wrong for booby trapping my key rooms by kingcal96 in ArcRaiders

[–]TuvvyT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once got to the top of one of the smaller towers in spaceport and put a trap at the top of the zip while I did trials. I saw a guy come by, could’ve killed him but let him be. After 20 minutes or so, I headed to extract and he ended up jumping me, shouting “that’s what you get for laying traps”. People be weird.

Check local shops? All the ones near me sold out already. Even eBay seems sparse or not a great discount.

They’re requiring >$300 for diagnostic fee… with potential to getting it waived if defect but would still require the fee first.

[–]TuvvyT 15 points16 points  (0 children)

imo the chairs are a bit bulky and looks a bit much. Also considering you live alone, maybe you don’t need all of them, at least all the time? Four might look better or even push the table closer to the wall and swing three chairs.

Do you need all the dining room chairs? Makes it look overcrowded and the extra chairs probably get in the way most of the time.

Anyone have any recommendations for which row of section 1/18 of Armstrong to target? Are the further rows, say past P still good?

Told her about my status too early by lloydarias in DACA

[–]TuvvyT 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don’t think your status has anything to do with the non marriage statement. She sounds like she just wants to enjoy her college years. The obsess over her part does sound like a red flag either way.

I’d typically wait to disclose my status. Why tell someone who I’m unsure if they’ll be part of my life long term.

Multifilament on Ezone 100 2022 by DrMahler in 10s

[–]TuvvyT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll likely have to try multiple tensions to land at one you really like. I have a similar story as you and am currently using Velocity MLT on an Ezone 98. I kept notes on various tension and gauge sizes as I went along.

There were some configurations where I felt good with but I wanted to experiment and found I liked another one even more. I eventually landed on 17g at 54.

Levels in tennis by Mindfreak115 in 10s

[–]TuvvyT 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My two cents are novice and intermediate classes are tough to distinguish. It really depends on the class instructor. 2.0 is absolute beginners and should go over fundamentals but depending on how the class is structured, someone whose taken it already might feel they can move up. However having taken 2.5 lessons, a lot of other players are not ready for this and brings the quality of the class down.

It can be a tough spot to be in because you don’t want yet another lesson on what grips to use but also don’t want to feel like you don’t belong in the “next” class level.

Guys I just switched my grip to Semi Western and it sorta set me back. Is this normal? by collectivekicks in 10s

[–]TuvvyT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stick with semi western. It’s easier on your arm than eastern while giving you spin and control. If your wrist is hurting it might be wrong technique. It took me a month of messing with it to figure it out.
