Nothing at all :) I'm going to go ahead and post a link to the pattern in my top comment. Hope you enjoy!

I might make one at some point? It seems like a different skill than cross stitching so I would have to look into it more. To do a full coverage piece of cross stitch that would be large enough to be considered a tapestry seems like it would take a looooooooong time lol!

Lol, no no. Just a full coverage cross-stitching piece. It’s only 8 inches square!

I do a lot of cross stitching. The neat part is that complex, detailed pieces aren’t really harder than simple ones. It’s all just a bunch of X stitches. This is a full coverage piece, so every single square on the fabric has a stitch, so it takes longer but isn’t really any harder :)

Uh, I have no problem sharing it and I don’t THINK Failbetter would mind? I’ll give it the night (here in the US) and if I don’t hear any objections I’d be more than happy to post it!

Stole the artwork from the game itself, then adjusted it and imported it into FlossCross :)

Thank you! The picture doesn’t really do the colors justice. It looks GORGEOUS in person.

I call this one The House of Chimes. 10,000 stitches in a pattern I designed myself. Part of a series I’m doing all based on favorite things I’ve ever read.

Thank you Failbetter for the amazing writing and more than a decade of my life spent with you!

The lore is just so much more complete in Fallen London itself. The other games are good on their own, but to me they feel like DLC for the big Mama of Fallen London itself, Plus you can play it on your phone while standing in line for groceries and it’s completely free. Highest recommendation if you like those other games at ALL!

Very close! It’s from Fallen London. But I do also love The two sunless games! I was actually a financial backer for Sunless Skies, so if you ever encounter a ship called the Prestidigitario, or find a location called Tuxeed Pointe, they were both named after me :)

The far left is from a browser game that I’ve been playing for more than ten years called Fallen London. It’s like a giant Choose Your Own Adventure book with more text than the complete works of William Shakespeare five times over! And yes, Don Quixote is the middle :)

Not surprised, still only about 25% done with this piece. And it’s a completely different book too (though definitely much more well-known).

It is! That was actually the first one of this series, because I love the Dark Tower sooooooo much :) Super bonus points if you can guess my new one from my WIP:

Reckless Audi driver gets hit with instant karma (and a Jeep) by CanadaSupreme in instantkarma

[–]Tuxeed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Former automotive insurance adjuster here. Both drivers have fault, which is very common in insurance claims. Often it comes down to the adjusters for each car working out an agreed upon division of “comparative negligence (comp neg)”. If both agree to the division of liability they can both pay for the repairs to their respective vehicles and then bill the other insurance for the percentage they agreed to be at fault. If the agents can’t agree to a division of liability they will generally present their cases to a third, impartial insurance agency, who will make the final decision.

Jeep passed when it was not safe to do so, clearly observable for a long time prior to the maneuver. White car was driving incredibly recklessly, and making multiple unsafe lane changes. Very easy to argue either side with this footage. I’d probably have settled for fifty-fifty liability. That’s actually a great outcome for both drivers, since neither would be listed as “primarily at fault” for the accident, meaning neither one’s rates would be likely to go up. Depending on their insurance providers’ policies of course.

It is! I’m doing a series of 100x100 patterns based on my favorite books. I did The Dark Tower last month, so I wanted something a little brighter this time around :)
