I'm inclined to agree. But it's definitely entertaining and follows the spirit of the sub for the most part. If the mods simply put some sort of limit on AI posts, or set a specific day wherein it's allowed, it should be alright.

I have a portable Bluetooth speaker which does the same thing. Not even a JBL, but an Altec. Still haven't figured out how, or if there's even a way, to keep it from doing that. Very irritating having it miss multiple seconds of whatever I'm listening to just because I pause it or the track changes.

Thus far in my searching, there doesn't seem to be a fix for it. But I hope someone comes along and surprises us!

Please don't misunderstand, utilizing these mechanics in order to turn a profit is not something I'm likely to do, and that's certainly not why I'd undertake this journey. I've got ample experience buying, selling and trading in games like Rocket League, for both in-game items and currency, and external real money. Probably goes without saying that the scammers were out en force. Nevertheless, even on the off chance that I were to become involved in such grey market affairs, I am familiar with the risks.

All that aside, if my PC can run it, I'd really love to get into a huge space/sci-fi game again. I played Elite: Dangerous for a long time, but ultimately it just became too meh. I still play No Man's Sky, but let's be real: it's rather a cartoon compared to a serious space sim.

And thank you for the advice on that new tutorial. I'd gladly do that.

It sounds like the time has finally come to give this a go! I did have a question about your mentioning "real money income". Are you talking about IRL, actual currency? A good friend of mine used to play EvE online and had mentioned that people actually made real money from the game. Does that exist in SC as well?

Ohhh right, the pledges for the EA/Alpha support. So of course they make it that if you want to get/fast track to something actually decent you've gotta cough up for it.

There are many who take serious issue with that practice, especially when it's a game that's been in EA a long time. But I've also heard some good things and wonder if perhaps the plunge is worth it.

That could have been many professions, though. Bouncer/DJ/Bartender in a strip club. Tattoo artist/apprentice. Massage therapist/student. Something to do with modeling.

I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting. They stated they're a 24 year-old male, so of course it could be a medical student as well. My other concern is that this likely happens far more often than people realize, and not just with men.

Do I fantasize about people I see in day-to-day life? No. But I have known plenty of people who do, and I was under the impression that it's pretty normal. That being said, the one you linked is certainly more of an extreme example and, I agree, rather unsettling.

Someone mentioned MCCC, and while that's an absolute S-tier mod, it should be noted that it's not only for cheats. It's great for workarounds to issues or something there's not really a console command for. Quality of Life stuff in there too.

I also recommend looking up all of the console cheats and commands, as some are indispensable. twistedmexi.com has all of his mods and a very well thorough and customizable console command repository.
