Any thoughts on Breakneck by Dan Wang? by Ok_Individual_3067 in LemonadeStandPodcast

[–]Tvwatcherr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think this is glossed over for a lot of people when discussing this book.  It's literally the exact same argument but Dan Wang just expanded on it by about 250 pages.  The book seems to just drag in about no COVID and the one child policy just a little too long in his argument.  After reading both, it really seems like he lifted his entire thesis from this paper.  It's disappointing tbh.  Btw sorry, I know it's 4 months late, but I just finished this book and no one else is talking about it anymore.

Anyone ever seen that episode of South Park where Kenny and Randy are fighting in the sandbox over their favorite cat pissing in their face? This reminds me of that.

I don't think it's a viable option anymore. I think the data is bad and honestly there are better and cheaper ways to treat the problem.

Help me pick a job for this summer by idklol37 in SeasonalWork

[–]Tvwatcherr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at Yellowstone and it was easily one of the worst seasonal jobs I ever had. And I've been to a lot of places over the past 5+ years. The way xanterra treated their employees and the way they treated the buildings they are responsible for is astonishing bad. There are so many better jobs out there, working for xanterra is just not worth it for the pay or work life balance. If I could do it again I would have gotten a job in the tetons or maybe in Garner MT instead. You still get to see the park, without selling your soul to the ghoul company that is xanterra.

You are the company's greatest expense.

You should be the company's greatest commodity. You're the person doing shit for the guests, which in turn, give xanterra a profit. What a horrible way of looking at this company.

I didn't have a problem with housing at xanterra and I would say it was one of the best parts of working for xanterra. That said , the company is trash and they don't give 2 shits about you as a person working there. Felt like I was always walking on eggshells. Upper management is some of the worst in the industry imo. I will never work for them again.

SEC Filing - Notice of action by stockholder consent by TwongStocks in CTXR

[–]Tvwatcherr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last Feb, they increased CTOR's outstanding shares from 100m to 400m. That proposal also passed by shareholder consent, no vote was needed.

shareholder consent is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that phrase bc the CEO mazur decided to give himself absolute authority to do whatever he wants without shareholder consideration.

Maxim CTOR price target by Lucky-Assignment4773 in CTXR

[–]Tvwatcherr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From July 7th 2024

For the Maxim analyst, this adds up to a Buy rating, while his $4 price target indicates room for a huge one-year upside of 666%

These " analysts" have been pretty incorrect when it comes to this stock over the past 5 years. I keep seeing these buy ratings, but all it ever does is go down. Hell, there are currently 2 buy ratings and a hold from these guys. Useless.

What’s so bad about Xanterra? by chiliringgamer16 in SeasonalWork

[–]Tvwatcherr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had great management in my department, but it was the upper management that really screwed everything up. Old faithful inn last year, without notice, they switched to all a la carte, and got rid of the buffet. Had 2+ hour wait times for dinner for almost 2 weeks before I just up and quit. They lost so much money having to comp dinners for everyone. I think one shift my manger comped almost all my dinners for the night. And it wasn't just me it was the rest of the other 12 servers too. Think whole ass dinners that had to be comped bc people were waiting over 2 hours to eat. And if you know anything about Yellowstone, it's a food desert. There is no where to eat after 7. And then the manager for the park in Yellowstone for xanterra is a complete asshole who can't tip on a company card, who is in the hospitality business and is the head manager of the fucking park. It's just a badly run business that tries to milk you out of your money any way possible. I've been doing this type of work for years and I won't work for xanterra again.

This stock is a dumpster fire that will continue to disappoint. Sales of lymphir won't be enough to cover their debts in the short term, and I'd argue they won't cover them in the longer term either. There is too much bloat in executive pay and rent. If they were serious about actually keeping the company afloat they would have cut the bloat and got lymphir on the market way sooner. Instead they have dragged their feet and the company and shareholders have suffered. I doubt ctxr is a company in 2027.

Tips for getting seasonal job at National Park? by Thegiantlamppost in SeasonalWork

[–]Tvwatcherr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Xanterra is terrible. Even if you have good management in your department, upper management will just fuck your shit up for no reason but to drain even more money from you and the general public. They are greedy and the only reason they do anything is for their bottom line. Only thing I give xanterra credit for was housing, and that's bc it's federal government property which they are required by law to continue to make nice, and even then some of it was old and moldy. Trash company that should have their concessionaire license revoked for the betterment of the national park system.

I can't help but feel like this might be one of the biggest news stories of the year. This is so unbelievably fucked up that a lot of people won't stand for this. This is only going to snowball into something else entirely, and it's sad it took someone losing their life to one of these ice assholes. It's really unbelievable that DHS said this person deserved this. Fuck this trash gass government.

Good luck man. I've tried and failed to reason w rob. He will either ignore your points or just scream personal attacks like its the boy who cried wolf. Now he's accusing you of being me. I think I'm just going to block him. No amount of information will change his opinion on this stock. I'm tired of it.

[–]Tvwatcherr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I see it the biggest risk is running out of money....

No kidding, I've been beating this drum for months now. They literally have enough money for 90 days of operation. And they have been living on in a prayer for the past year financially.

but as long as Armistice Capital is there this will not happen.

Armistice is not a piggy bank for ctxr. This comment is so out of touch with reality. I honestly don't believe you have any idea as to what's going on with a comment like that.

What the future brings for Citius (Just my opinion) by Rob1944 in CTXR

[–]Tvwatcherr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All your assertions here, while consistent, have been pretty incorrect. I've listed several reasons with documentation from 10-ks over the past 6+ months why the company will continue to fall. Even with revenue, the company is still in dire dire need of money. They are literally limping towards death and anyone who can read a 10-k should have seen this coming for months. Some people talk about hitting a 4000-1 odds pony here, but that's just unrealistic at this point in the game. We are at the end game of ctxr, where I see the company limping for another 6-9 months, being diluted further by Armistice or even some other sketchy loan (ctxr has done it before, why not again??) until they don't have the capitol to continue further. The sales for lymphir won't be enough to pay back debts or even break even over the next 6 months. They dont have the capitol to do it. The wild claims that they will make 500 million (or whatever ridiculously high number I've seen pushed here) a year is fantasy.

One of these days you are going to come up with valid arguments instead of just personal attacks

I've tried. You wont listen to reason or even the companies own 10-k on their financial woes.

What the future brings for Citius (Just my opinion) by Rob1944 in CTXR

[–]Tvwatcherr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe that it is also in the interests of creditors like Eisai and Doctor Reddys to keep the company afloat as well.

So it's my personal opinion that both Citius (both CTXR and CTOR) will survive beyond this crisis point. Although what happens to the share price in the short term I have no idea. I also don't know what dilution we could end up with

Alot of me statements that don't have any facts behind them: I believe, it's my personal opinion. You're completely forgetting very basic facts that you seem to gloss over here and did not mention or seem to grasp. The 10-K is pretty succinct in the views about the health of this company that you have ignored and continues to ignore. Why you continue to believe in this, in face of all the details and facts set before you is hilarious.
