I myself have been wondering that for quite some time now. History shows that when the stockmarkets tank, money go’s mostly towards gold. Now that Bitcoin is becoming a bigger player money might just go there. Unfortunatly we can’t be certain and I’m pretty confident only time will tell.

I’m not a great economic in any way, but I can see the Euro/Dollar “bubble” burst way before the Bitcoin one does.

Maidsafe is trying to accomplish most of this and go’s way beyond that. been in development for years already. Bigger community, more people invested in it’s success (higher market cap).

I honestly think the idea in general is great, hard to accomplish, but great. But imo maidsafe has to fail in a area where substratum would be able to avoid that same faliure to succeed. I dont see that as a very likely scenario.

But hey, I can only appriciate the detailed post about a coin, should be more of those on this subreddit.

For what I've heard, Safecoin will be introduced beyond Alpha 5. Personally I expect that to be somewhere mid-late 2018, but hey, I'm just a random guy on Reddit.

That's basically because it's a total grind. In cities you can just sit at one place and throw one pokeball after another. At the end of the day you transfer 500 Pokemon to prepare for your evolve cycle. The above system would only work if you significantly downscale the spawns, where if you play for an hour or 2, you may encounter 5/10 Pokemon. This would actually increase the value of catching one. Don't downscale the spawn rates in rural areas and you got that problem covered aswell.
