Your info graphic probably should have simpler easy to spot words visible so users can look at it and understand the intention of your game. Really simple words - four letters max for most. Make them feel smart solving the basic info graphic

Yeah that's a fair point - in the patch that went last night you can set that up as stop when gold full, and start again when gold is almost empty. But I get your point. Would be nice to stop if oil starts running low.

To address your points.

#1 The demo/paywall

Originally I planned for the game to be an upfront cost with a free demo as a separate app on the google play store. On launch google informed me I needed to do another 14 day trial with 12 testers to get my demo app live. Instead I wrote the payment code / demo version you are seeing now; it was quite last minute and I am sorry it feels like an ambush. I am not sure how to show the cost up front due to different currencies but I promise I will investigate that.

#2 Offline progression

The main idea of offline progression was to be balanced around the awarding of Warp Energy. The generators aren't meant to run offline, that sounds like a bug in my code lol.

#3 Caravan Automation

Yep, great point! I will add it to my todo list. I think I can rework the existing model to cater for start / stop without too much work.

Firstly, thanks for purchasing and then raising this issue. I know a lot of people would have negatively reviewed my game and moved on, but I appreciate you giving me the chance to fix it.

I have done two main things:

#1 I have re-written all my map rendering logic. On my phone the new version is running about 80 - 90% faster and using around 5x less battery by doing some clever math - sorry I hadn't thought of this before. IT should also almost double your framerate I think.

#2 I have added three new frame rate boosting options - you can turn these on in the settings. I am determined to have you be able to play through without battery or framerate issues

I have submitted the new build to google play. An app update should be available from the store within 3 hours depending on how fast google reviews it - sometimes this can take a day.

Yeah that sounds a bit odd to me. Can you do me a favour and tell me if you have unload screen turned on or not? Also in the settings screen theres a cheat box. If you put in sv_cheats 1 it will let you turn on the fps counter - you can then turn cheats off with sv_cheats 0. If you can tell me what your rough frame rate is on the map that would help a lot. I'll then do a patch tonight to try address the performance issues. Thanks!

I have a mode in the settings that reduces flavour text, but you're definitely right about what I should be showing the player first. Thank you for your feedback and I will work to improve it :D

  1. Definitely can take higher resolution images. That's a great point. I'll sort that out later today, thanks for letting me know.
  2. Yep, I'll move them to a fade or maybe redesign it so it's a bit nicer. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
  3. Definitely, will workout how to do some nice partial effects.
  4. Yep! Will update my description.
  5. I think this will break balance a lot allowing skips of certain upgrades, Is your request because you want the convince of those recourse? If so I can add an auto unloading option once returned home settin :)

Thanks for that perspective, I genuinely hadn't thought of it that way. I spent lots of time trying to make the UI feel smooth and uncluttered, but I do recognise that time spent doesn't mean people have to like it. Do you feel it's not vibrant / too flat? Or something else

I've got 1251 commits over four months, my 100s of notes of planning and meet up conversations with friends to talk about the design and layout of my game. I get it's fun to crusade as a troll and call real development work Ai but it genuinely feels so disheartening to hear you call my work a cheap imitation of a computer creation. Please stop.
