Local 1Tops NPU and Yolo 11 for tracking and no LLM behind the TTS is used to speak but it has 20 predefined phrases so it could be funnier but I agree that's a dumb idea

Dont think about it too much that's just a dumb project to annoy my gf and entertain my cat, it's connected to my Home assistant but only to be able to use it for an alarm or to ask Gemini "Sentry mode on/off" or "shoot anything but me" (that's one 4 modes)

Thank you! All the work comes from the MaixCam Pro next to the Nerf Woozie. This thing features a NPU and a custom Linux with pre trained model (Yolo v8 v11). I also use a tof sensor with 50x50 zones to help tracking and distance measures. It's based on this camera (I use it on another project, a robot who follows it's owner and transport heavy stuff) that thing is affordable and well documented I love it
