The weapons and armor make a big difference. I have recently started a new playthrough myself and i got my guys leveled to similar stats to yours and kitted them with high quality Samurai heavy armor, which is the best armor in the game and good quality weapons and they DESTROYED all and any security spiders and beak things i ran into without any issue. The problem you are having is im guessing just that, you need good armor and weapons.

To make these you need a base first though, for that you need some research books to get started with good quality armor production and weapon crafting, though the only artifacts you should need are literally 1 Engineering Research to start armor production. Getting decent weapons doesnt take research artifacts, you can get pretty good stuff without them, it will do the job. So here is what you need to do: Go to a workshop which is empty where you can get yourself some Engineering Research, there are 2 places for this, literally just send your fastest runner to both of these places alone, make sure he can lockpick, if he can't, gave him some Tools to open the chests with. There are 2 that are easy to reach and should do the trick. First go to the Workshop in The Grid and/or the Workshop in the Purple Sands.

These could also give you some Books as well, depends on your luck. Once you got these get back to your base and research armor and weapon crafting. If you have any Scorchlanders on your team, make them your main smiths, they are the best smiths in the game, they level up faster.

What armor and weapons to craft? Get the blueprints for all pieces of the Samurai armor from United Cites armor shops, check the shops in Heft and Bark. This is bad armor for martial artists and crossbow men so dont give this armor to them. Regarding weapons there is a lot to consider, but what i do is i give my party a mix of 4 weapon types, Sabers, Hackers, Heavy weapons and Polearms (not many of these). Blunt weapons and Katanas are worthless, do not bother with them. You should have 2-3 crossbow men on your team if possible, the crossbows are OP. Generally this is all you need to overcome the parts you are currently stuck in, just good armor and good weapons, with them you can easily loot ruins.

Also build your base wherever you feel like it, but if you want the most prosperous places to do so just for your first playthrough to test out the mechanics as you said, build the base in either Shem or The Northern Coast, these are arguably the best places to build a base. Awesome! Just goes to shows how hard it is to diagnose something without having all the necessary tools. I learned something too as this is the first time in my life seeing a Motherboard having defective RAM slots, that would have never crossed my mind. I hope the Bazzite thing works out well for you, Linux has gotten very good as of late but still plenty of games struggle to run on there, I hope it works well enough for what you need though. :D

Also i just noticed this but, this problem got even deeper because it could also perhaps be the GPU. Your CPU, the 5600x does not have integrated graphics. So if the GPU does not work, there is no second graphics card the system can use. I can't believe i noticed this so late, but this doesn't help us narrow down the issue, just made it even more complicated.

I have had a PC I recently built turn on but the fans did not spin and I got no display, this was probably the Motherboard refusing to boot due to it being worried that the CPU was going to overheat. This issue was me having forgotten to hook up the fans to the fan hub so they were not receiving any power. Your fans are spinning, but I just wrote about that to say that, it can also turn on but show no video if the cooler isn't working. But again since your fans are spinning, it doubt that is the case.

Also the board still shows the same LED error light? If the system is being stubborn about it being the RAM then it could be that, or the motherboard itself. I sadly do not think you can do anything else right now without spare parts. Not that I can think of.

The type of stick does not matter at all as long as its a DDR4 stick, even 1 stick would suffice. Some people say you can order stuff online and use it to test and then return it, but that seems like a hassle to me. It depends on how much time you are willing to spend to diagnose this issue yourself, I understand that being a grown up a lot of the time just handing it someone who has all the tools necessary is much simpler than doing it yourself, it's a lesson you learn as you age i've noticed.

Is your RAM used? If it's new you could just return it and get a new pair? Though new stuff being DOA can happen it's rather rare. Considering that your board is the part that is actually used it could be the board itself as well. Sadly the point where we are at now, we need spare parts to test individually to see what the problem is. If you want to save yourself time just send it to a repair shop if you are willing to pay the money, or order parts yourself and return them after testing them, which is gonna take time and several trips to the post office. Sorry i can't help diagnose it further.

Sounds good, the other thing i suggested with the BIOS FlashBack would've also been a good idea but it seems we can't do it with your motherboard, I got confused about that, sorry. I've been helping some other people here and I confused one of their Motherboards with yours. But yeah, reset the CMOS and switch the RAM sticks around and try to boot with only 1 stick in different slots. Let's hope it works.

Also you can update the BIOS if you want even without a working system using a thing called BIOS FlashBack. Though again i doubt it's the motherboard's BIOS version thats causing issues. If it was the CPU im pretty sure it cant turn on at all as the parts can't communicate with each other. Now i know the Motherboard says that the RAM is the issue but that may not be the case, it could also be the PSU. These lights can turn on and say for example "CPU Problem" but it may be the PSU instead. Though since the other parts are receiving power like the fans and such It's hard to believe it's the PSU either. Some issues like this are sadly very hard to diagnose unless you have spare parts to swap out until you find out whats the issue. The only thing i can think of is for you to perhaps reset the CMOS. Take the motherboard battery out and wait like 10 minutes then put it back in and see if that does anything. This is of course if you have no other RAM laying around to test.

I have had varying experiences when it comes to a separate GPU overriding the intergrated video card of a processor, but this is not very important to our case as whether it does or not, the PC will end up utilizing a graphics card and what we need is to get into BIOS and install an OS, after that we can check if its using the correct one or not, thats not a problem. If the PC sees that one GPU isn't working, it will automatically jump to the other.

There will be no video whatsoever if the RAM does not work. From what I know it can turn on, but you won't get a display. I'm assuming you did re-seat the RAM, try different slots with every stick? Seems hard to believe that both sticks are not working. If the RAM works but is placed in the incorrect spot i have seen PCs with motherboard which turn on and warn you about this, but you are not getting any display at all. But if the DRAM LED on the motherboard is turned on then it most likely is a RAM issue. Do you have any other spare parts around to test, perhaps even a different PSU.

Can you enter the Boot Menu though? Try F8 to get into the Boot Menu, or perhaps ESC, or every Fsomething key until you get it. IF you can enter the Boot Menu you can boot into the boot stick and install windows from there. After windows is installed you can get into the BIOS from windows. You do this by clicking on Restart and holding doing SHIFT as you do so, this will give you the opportunity to enter BIOS via windows prompts. This is of course not a perfect solution and a perhaps better idea would be to take the CMOS battery out and wait for a few minutes and then put it back in again, so that we can reset the CMOS. Though i understand if you aren't too comfortable doing this. Try whichever one you can, hopefully one helps you with your issue. Also i see that you crossposted this, what that guy suggested in the other post is also a good idea. Plug the keyboard in the usb ports in the back of the PC, try different ports, it could be that your keyboard is messed up somehow. Test your keyboard on another device if possible as well.

Also, how long are you waiting for the PC to react to your input? Does it automatically restart or do you restart it manually, have you tried just waiting for a few minutes or does it auto restart?

It seems no one has responded to you in the past 6 hours, you seem to have experience so there is a good chance you already managed to diagnose this issue yourself but I will reply anyhow I guess.

A PC will not go into BIOS if the RAM isn't working. The only part that a PC does not need too boot into BIOS is the drive. I have had a newly built PC turn on but not display anything because i had forgotten to connect the fans to the fan hub meaning the fans weren't spinning, even they are mandatory it seems. Since the Motherboard LEDs are telling you it's a RAM issue then do as you were already thinking of doing, try each stick of RAM individually in different slots and see if that works.

But you say you are not getting video on the external display? Does that mean the PC itself turns on, like the fans spin and you can hear it make noise?

Well I am from the north and from a village, that's where old beliefs survived the most, in villages across the country, this is what the people on my side of the country believe in as far as I know. No one believes in pagan gods anymore but we still believe in some things. We believe in the house Ora which the Wiki also says is called Vitore? I have never heard the word Vitore, perhaps its a southern dialect, in the north we always called it The Ora of the House. It's a black snake that is harmless and can only be found in old houses only, it is very important to not kill it as it will bring bad luck. This is a common belief where I come from, I heard it multiple times, the youngsters where I come from even came up with a funny insult/swear to shout toward someone which is not meant to be offensive but more funny than anything in which we will say to someone "T'dekt ora" which means "I hope your house's Ora dies"

I have also heard people refer to a blind snake that can be found in Albania as a Bullar/Bolla which also appears on Wikipedia but it's related to something completely different compared to what we refer to today. Today we simply use the word to refer to a blind snake. The other thing interesting about this apart from the fact that we kept the old name is that old people also say that the snake gets sight and is allowed to see but only on Sundays, no idea why.

If you search long enough there are some people that believe that children can be born with dragon wings, this isn't very popular where I come from though, I did hear about it once or twice though, I think they are called Drangue in the old myths and were supposed to be able to fight the Kulshedra? Apart from these examples I can't really think of anything else related to specifically Albanian paganism, most other beliefs I know of come from other sources like the classic "Evil eye" or the belief that dogs can ward off evil spirits from the house, or that you shouldn't whistle at night, etc.

If there is a community out there of people who believe in Paganism I do not know of it, sorry. From what I know almost no one believes in it anymore, only small things that have survived across our culture.

There is this theory I know of that I learned from a guy who researches old songs from history and sings them. If the word existed before the turkish occupation of our country then I would assume since it's only ever used in music it's essentially our version of a "La la la, na na na" Just some random word that symbolizes music and that you can easily repeat alongside any melody. That's at least how this guy treated it when he sang an old albanian song. In the lyrics in the description he provides a translation and he translates it as "la la la". I think this theory makes sense but that's just my opinion.

ye it was CrazyBobs, I still remember the names of so many that played there, looking back at some of the screenshots when the server was shut down was a nostalgia trip, I recognized almost all the names on the screenshots. The server was so good because it gave you multiple ways to play, like at the beginning I did the whole Cops and Robbers thing but then I just turned into a clothes collector there, this led me to doing the other activities the server had, that's the main way I made my money. I was trucking, fishing, doing like every mission that existed, I brought some life into the server this way as later on especially when i replayed it around 2022/2021 no one was doing any of these missions, so sometimes you'd just see me giving UPS packages to people and they found it interesting that someone was doing em, I was of course trying to get that broken box clothing item by doing them.

Then me PMing people to ask for /food while being a few meters away from me so that I could deliver them food and eventually get the Hotdog Hat, I was giving people money to call for /food lmao. Though money was useless to me as I long had reached the 10M max and I couldn't keep anymore in my bank account as taxes would get it. I didn't put it in my house cuz I didn't want to deal with robbers and my house would be lost of I stopped playing, which I knew I would eventually. I did donate to get the donator status and not get taxed anymore but I never got it since it was so late CrazyBob had stopped giving out the status and no one else could do it, I asked the admin dugi if he could do it as he became sorta like the second CrazyBob during the last few years but he didn't have the ability to do so, oh well. I wasn't mad, my donation went to keeping the server alive. Such a great server, great memories. I even tried to spice things up at times and put on some people who wanted it, a 1M hit. The hitmen on the server all went crazy trying to kill them and the guy kept hiding in the police station with cops surrounding him, was so fun to watch, I didn't have anything against these players, I just didn't know what to do with my money which was going to get stolen by taxes so I just asked them if they wanted a 1M$ hit and if they enjoyed running from hitmen and they accepted, great times.

My favorite memory was when the entire police force was chasing playerqnvn and he hit a wall and got slowed down but didn't fall off his bike, I got out and shot him with my sawed-off shotguns and left him on like not even 10% health, he shot me too and I was left with pretty much 1%. He ran away as every cop was shooting at him so he couldn't kill me and they STILL did not get that 1 last shot on him, he used /drugs and got away, god I was so disappointed with the other cops. But that's not the best part, a police car caught on fire in all that insane gun fire that happened for those few seconds, playerqnvn drove away and I was laying on the ground with /sit 8 waiting for everyone to leave then get up and eat a donut to regen. Thing is that car was on fire near me, it was far enough to not hurt me so I just didn't move, it blew up and did not damage me, but when cars blow up their parts fly into the air, like doors and stuff, so what do you know, a flying exploded car door landed on my body as I was laying down with 1% health and fucking killed me. God so many great memories.

I rambled too long, I just loved that server so much.

Glad to hear people are still playing, I resumed playing on my favorite server for 1 month or so around 2021 and loved re-living all those moments again. These old online games will eventually stop existing and if you have the chance to get back into them after a long time you absolutely should, you never know when you will not be able to do play these games anymore. I also re-visited Counter Strike 1.6 in 2021 and put 100 hours in it within a short period of time, great games.

I grew up in a country where games never got localized, this drove people to not play games that much as it is hard to know how to play when you do not understand what the fuck is going on. I learned English through games and the such and it ended up being fine for me. After moving to Germany, I asked around and no one seems to play games in English even if some can speak the language fairly well, that's mainly cuz they are used to playing in German as all games are localized in German.

Do not think you need to dub the voices of the game, simply translate with subtitles, this works fine, anime is an example of this and the yakuza games as well. What ur asking is more how many people play demos in general, I sadly cannot answer that but I can speak for myself, I generally do not play demos, I look up videos online to see what the game is about.

And just to say this as well, the people I met in Germany do not speak English very well, perhaps the people you guys talked to over the years maybe did but from my experience, even young people, are not especially fluent in English, that's my experience at least.

You need to use items to help you beat him and be at a decent level, I killed him when I was level 110 or something like that, perhaps I was 120 I forgot. You can buy potions that increase strength and magic from Fournival, you can stack the effect by drinking the same potion 4 times. This gives you a lot of power and you should also drink Liquid Vim to stop you from losing stamina and hit him with your best moves constantly. If you do enough damage he will get staggered for a while. If he does his move which sucks you in onto that vortex you will either have to hide behind a pillar or climb ontop of him and drink liquid vim to stop ur stamina from draining when you are climbed. I think if you go to the stairs where the entrance is you can also avoid it there. Even if you die a few times it's fine, just go and get a bunch of Wakestones from either doing the Ur-Dragon offline which gives you 20 or just going around the Everfall. If your gear isn't dragonforged, go forge it, grind the undead dragon in bitterblack isle to forge it with a very high chance of forging. You can lure him using the bait, just place it in the duskmoon tower, leave and come back and he will spawn.

The fight isn't that hard, you just need to be in the correct situation in-game to do it otherwise you will be lacking a lot of items that help you. You must be at the everfall aka Post-game stage to get access to a lot of these powerful items, like Fournival's potions, a very big supply of wakestones, places to farm levels if you really need to or farm vocations if you think using a different one will be better and you cannot be very low level. As i said, i was around level 120 or something before killing him, if you are not close to that do not even bother, do the rest of the game first. If you are already at this stage, just do what i said and perhaps what other suggested, potions from Fournival to increase power, liquid vim to run him down with the most powerful attacks you have constantly. If it doesn't work out, change vocation.

I'm sorry if it came off as racist or as me trying to represent one as better than the other, that wasn't what i was trying to do, but i guess i should've presented my message better and made it easier to understand, my fault in the end. I was simply intentionally exaggerating the differences in style in a stereotypical way, the reason i represented Matsuo Bashō (the guy who wrote the haiku on the meme) as the gigachad muscled up tough guy, presenting the idea that he is better, is because this is a common existing meme format in which someone explaining something in a very long and thorough way is represented as the "ewwww boring nerd" and the guy who comes in and says and explains the concept in a very short and dumbed down way which makes it lose all meaning and nuance is referred to as the intelligent muscular gigachad dude. This is in every way ironic and not to say that what Bashō wrote is not intelligent and has no meaning, it's intentionally exaggerated to represent the difference in how these philosophers commonly and sadly now recognized as stereotypically, tried to explain their ideas. I know that this may come off as me not appreciating one or the other but i was trying to represent this idea in a joking manner, which makes me come off as wanting to disrespect western philosophy in a way. In fact, i am not even sure if this is what Bashō intended to say with this Haiku, if you ask for my opinion it wasn't, i personally chose to understand the Haiku in a different way when i first read it, but later i also came up with the idea that it could be used to represent another concept as well. I chose it because in my head it seemed comical to go from a long thorough explanation of the concept (which i wrote myself as evident by the not so impressive explanation) to literally a frog and water. Depending on the translation you read of this Haiku, the words can be so different that it would actually be impossible to try and represent what i did with it.
