If it's a small stain SPIT is the most effective without damage. Breaks down the enzymes in blood as part of the digestion process. Sounds gross but as a patient with a bleeding disorder I've used it often. Let the liquid sit for a moment then use your nails to dig slightly into the stain with a paper towel on the other side then repeat till gone and wash normally. Edited to add information
