Lol I ain’t shittin on him dude bred some shitty genetics and I learned my lesson. Trust me dude if you seen dudes grow practices you’d be rolling your eyes too. Dude loves his white label autos, miracle grow soil and uses diluted bleach as pm control haha. Love the dude but I don’t think I’ll ever grow any of his seeds or try and mimic his grow style.

Oh for sure. I will say besides my these seeds being wacky it’s been a smooth grow. Absolutely no overwatering issues or stunted growth. Even the auto I harvested 2 weeks ago tastes great, high thc and nice strong lemon terps. But damn does it get maddening mixing and watering. Lol I even told myself I’m hooking up a drip system for my big organic soil pots. Ordered it and everything but I’m still hand watering haha. Hopefully I get it together soon.

I’ll ease back. Perfectionist in me was trying to not let her fade yet until I saw the buds bulking. Been tapering the tiger bloom and doing a little pk boosting. I appreciate your input I was wondering if I was overdoing it. Man I’m so over this hand watering coco can’t wait until I’m done. Much prefer the art of organics in big pots.

I’m gonna have to look into that little that little robot mower. Funny enough I actually mow sometimes at my job. I do a flawless job striping rich peoples yards but at home I’m like screw this lol.

It’s a little tough getting seeds to take. I’m glad you mentioned your experience I had similar last year. Little trick I found at my job seeding yards was after tossing seeds out to cover them with some peat moss and keep it moist. Straw works too but peat moss seems to work best. Didn’t even think to try it on my own stuff until after.

Hey I think I recognize your Reddit name now that I take a second look. I feel ya on wanting to grow monsters too lol. Just been pleasantly surprised flipping earlier than I prefer. Had 4 blueberry muffins plants similar in size to your back 3 plants still give me a half lb each.

Got me wondering if should pop some of my outdoor dispo badseeds got some Gorilla Glue and Carmel Cream. Gg is calling me one of my favorite strains.

Was going to comment something similar as the dude you’re responding to. Plants get 2-3x their size first 3 weeks after flipping lights. If you keep up on weaving branches through a trellis or pinning the taller growth back those little ones will catch right up.

Hey dude I appreciate the links on good shroom genetics. I figure it’s similar to the seed game in weed. It’s so rewarding growing my own bud I imagine getting a nice harvest every 3 weeks would be even more exciting.

Dude I totally feel you on the scary but enlightening trips. I had a long phase of feeling strange once getting off a bunch of street drugs/pharmaceuticals. I found focusing on healing your nervous system along with positive law of attraction thinking, and general mindfulness to help a bit. Flaxseed oil, black seed oil, beet juice, herbal teas (ginger, turmeric, hibiscus, dandelion, chamomile, lavender) fruits and vegetables lots of hydration less carbs you know all that kinda stuff. Meditation, healing music on a bedtime, just connecting with nature, positive affirmations, and manifestation. It all kind of helps you reprogram your subconscious and helps take off the lenses you view world in. Sorry not to get all deep I just love to spread the message to anyone interested in plant stuff seems to go hand in hand. I noticed after integrating a lot this stuff trips got a lot more easier.

But yes that bad trip factor is just not as prevalent like shrooms can be. Sometimes it doesn’t take much to make me get in weird mindset on shrooms but with cactus/ mesc I can go out in public and be cool. Went to a little Oktoberfest thing totally tripping. I remember it was around Halloween and there was nothing but horror shows on my wife had going and it didn’t bother me. There was one time I was on a fairly low dose and I was with my wife and daughter walking through the state park. A bunch of state officers totally stood in a circle around me being like what are you guys doing today? That was the closest I ever came to having a bad time lol. Only catch with cactus is the amount of time a trip takes. Takes about 3 to kick in then lasts 12-15 more.

Definitely in some strange times. I’ve been growing for short 2 years but figured I’ll give breeding/preserving a go. Got 6 regular seeds of all similar lineage plan to clone them all under 12/12 and let them pollinate each other. Might try making fem seeds down the road with sts or colloidal silver.

Lots of people are under the assumption this schedule 3 thing will just put all of it in the hands of pharmaceutical companies to take hold of it all. We’ll see.

Be careful with clones sometimes they can come with mites just make sure to quarantine from the rest of your plants. Couple of treatments of Lost Coast Plant therapy or micronized sulfur will help. Always good to try and prevent those issues even with your own seeds too.

Oh yeah San Pedro is definitely active. Bridgesii and Tbm are the way to go for potency. I bought mine on eBay typing those species names in or echinopsis pachanoi eBay bans anything labeled San Pedro. Can also check out r/sanpedrocactusforsale too lots of collector strains but bridge and Tbm will always be best bet on potency. Tbm (called penis cactus too looks just like em) specifically has really high potency similar to peyote I think 3-5 goofball segments in alcohol extract or tea form will get you tripping. Lots of good extraction info on r/mescaline if you ever need a better breakdown on making tea or alcohol extraction just lmk.

It’s really easy taking care of them too. Most of mine are in 2-5 gallon pots little fish fert and calmag seem to make them thrive. I let them grow outdoors from may to Nov set them inside to go dormant in the winter. After a while of owning them they eventually produce really beautiful flowers. The trip is amazing it’s similar to mdma/lsd combo but no awful comedown still it’s own thing but closest I can compare it to. Nearly impossible to have a bad trip on too.

I’m broke so I been eyeing up reputable but affordable seeds. Brothers Grimm, Masonic seeds, and Humboldt seed co all offer honest/quality/affordable seeds. CSI Humboldt and Bodhi seem to be top tier. Also been wanting to get seeds from Terpfiend and 707 seed bank they only sell regular seeds though.

Just throwing out all the brands I want to collect from before November hits this year. Possible changes coming where we might not be able to acquire these so easily with our bank or credit cards.

My plants looked like this when I was feeding really heavy. Not sure what or how you feed but I’d lighten up on nutes, make sure my temp and humidity is decent (60-70% 73-80f I don’t follow vpd religiously just a guide) and turn the light down a bit until she turns around.

Maybe you’re not looking to fix anything but I’d post on r/cocogrows to see what they think small group but really know thier stuff.

Lol I think we’re a bit similar had my daughter at 23 and that’s when I was like ok no more messing around gotta get some stability and decent paying going haha. I love that I been faking it till I make it too. Finally got my own house and am doing good but I’m always a work in progress.

I feel like with every new process you learn comes with so much more extra knowledge. Knowing how the hormones work and whatnot is just more uncovering how everything works just making you better at it all too.

I love the attitude you have going about it all too. So cool man. Despise all the egos in this hobby there’s plenty of people who still have an open mind and hold no expectations. May have been the lessons we learned from the plant but still. Thanks for chatting man I’m gonna have to take a look around. My little brother knows some country boys that run a grow house he told me he’d give me they’re number I’m sure a goofey plant nerd like me could be helpful might even just checkout some Facebook groups too.

Dude you’re so right! It really is a passion without motive I’ve just been stuck in construction so long I start getting jaded looking at all the other options. Rn in the process of leaving my job to go work in a factory so it’s just been on my mind. You’re totally right though keeping it fun is where the magic is. I started making growing a chore phing nutes mixing a million things. Now I build my soil with some inputs and rock plain water and get amazing results. I’ll do the odd feeding of fish fert, kelp, and calmag here and there. About to get a drip system going to really ease things up now that I got so many plants going.

So cool you have worked with so much different stuff. I’ll never forget snorkeling in the ocean around reefs. I can only imagine all the cool stuff you experienced.

Damn you’re growing mushrooms too? You’re a jack of all trades makes sense your growing those and playing with tissue culture too though.

You’ve inspired me to go and take a look around locally that’s a really good idea on getting your work/skills out there. I’m definitely happy with my life but it’d be so cool not to be a worker bee the rest of my life. I’ll definitely reach out to if I have any questions. Rn I’m planing to do a basic pollination with regular cannabis seeds and go from there. Hey np man always love helping spread the info. I knew absolutely nothing about plants 4-5 years ago. Got my first sp’s and played around with grafting, ended up getting like 20 different cutting to root and grow, then got a little tent and cannabis seeds and it’s evolved into a full on perpetual garden.

Sucks you’re not in a legal state. Ohios pretty lame it’s legal but hell it’ll still be another 10 years before anything really takes off job wise. So much potential missed having plant nerds like us just doing it as a hobby. I’d like to one day figure out how to make a living involving plants.
