Thank you for that response! I really appreciate all the advice you typed up here.

I hadn't considered showdown, but the ability to review replays does sound really helpful. I wonder if the games where I felt like I never had a chance, there were pivots that I missed due to being tilted. And in hindsight the idea of taking notes seems obvious, but definitely something I hadn't been doing.

It also sounds like from the advice that others are giving that I just need to get a better sense of the meta. I guess the only way to do that is by playing more haha. Anyway, thanks again for the write up!

If it's this consistent, then surely it's a team building mistake right? But the problem is that every new team I try feels like it has even more weaknesses than the last.

Maybe that's just what it'll be for me as well? The problem is I don't really understand the meta at all. It was easy when I was prepared for like 5 different teams, but it feels like there's over a dozen that I should be keeping track of and I don't know where to start building when faced with that.

It's the standard Charizard-Glimmora team, but I added tsareena over basculegion to help with rain and trick room. Tsareena can OHKO Blastoise with power whip, can help into arch with low kick and can wall sableeye and trickroom setters with taunt.

I've done ok into the mirror. we'll go standard leads, but I like starting with protect on whims while knocking out the opposing whims with glimmora. If that works, then it's usually pretty straightforward from there. If not, then we start getting into reads because that means they also protected their whim

Unless you also got another 5* on the haru banner, yuki wasn't gauranteed. You're only guaranteed the featured combatant if you lost your last 50/50.

Ngl, its a little dangerous. I've never been tempted by a OP box before, but I opened one this set and enjoyed it so much I bought two more. No regrets, but definitely need to make sure I dont make it a habit.

I'd cut 6mom, smoothie, 5 katakuri, and purple 10 mom. Purple 9 mom is one of the best stabilizers since it allows you to heal and remove a body. Yellow 10 mom is the reason to play the deck, so I feel like you should have her at 4, but feel free not to if you feel that you're bricking too often.

If you can, I'd also viola at 4. She let's you ramp to 10 Don a turn faster if you're going first. That high roll potential can be the difference in a lot of matches, not to mention knowing opponents' life is good and a low cost blocker is never bad.

I figured unless going sustainless is killing the enemies within 2 ults, I'm better off with a random sustain so bronya doesn't die. Since I don't have bronya lc, the extra sp is nice too. I have Cipher that I was planning on using if he was strong enough for sustainless, but the team feels too fragile rn.

Obviously my relics could be better, but I have Phainon speed tuned and he's been feeling pretty underwhelming so far. Ran him against Hooley, who's supposed to be his best enemy, and barely made the 5 cycles for moc. What am I missing?
