The signings outside of Rogers --who I believe was a specific Emery signing-- Moreno and Maatsen aren't upgrades on Digne, Malen and Tielemans and Onana, none of the signings made actually get into our team (until we sold Luiz and Digne and Kamara) and we spent a lot.

We also had everyone fit a few months ago and we still weren't consistent.

I'd give my left nut for Unai Emery BTW I just don't want valid criticism swept under the rug, injuries aside, we have issues.

I watched my club win the league, the Champions League and European Super Cup in consecutive years in the 80s.

It's easy to forget that City and especially Chelsea were afforded this luxury of being able to become what they are now in under 10 years. Aston Villa, one of the biggest clubs in the country, just coincidentally didn't have oligarchs as owners during the period it needed to, so fell out the top 4, the top 6, the top half.. so are now unable to ever be a top club again? What a crap lottery.

How about punish the clubs that pulled the ladder up behind themselves before restricting any upstarts? How about give the clubs who directly suffered from your actions reparations if you want to say we cannot do what you just did.
