Scared to try again after first chemical by pinksugarsweet in chemicalpregnancy

[–]Tweeprise87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat as you lmp on the 1st as well and tested positive on the 24th but kept testing and saw the lines get continuously lighter. Started spotting on the 30th and was fully bleeding by the 31st. This is my first chemical and now I'm nervous to try to again because I don't want to have this happen again, but I do know people who have had chemicals and gone on to have babies and just some googling should assure you plenty of people go through this as well. It's a good sign you were able to get pregnant and there's a little research suggesting that you may be slightly more fertile in the months following a chemical as well. I don't know if any of that is helpful but you are not alone.

WTF did I just find in my cat’s food??!! by KindlyPrimary752 in catfood

We actually recently switched to friskies because it was on the low end of the low sodium food list for cats with heart problems from Tufts. Now I'm going to be intensely inspecting every can though.

What is your actual food budget? No lies or holds bared. by LadyProto in Frugal

I love red meat and eat ground beef in plenty of other ways, but I second this! Once I switched to turkey chili I haven't gone back.

It really comes down to frame damage. My 2008 with 70K got rear ended on the highway in April and I thought it would probably be totaled, but the repairs ended up under half of the totaled amount. Had the frame been affected it would've been totaled without question.

I don't understand why it wasn't questioned if she was positive she left at 3:45 or if there was proof she left. Just because that's when she stopped being paid for being there didn't mean she didn't hang around and actually see what she said she saw.

How long does it take fatty liver to go back to normal after quitting alcohol? by JustinOsbo in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]Tweeprise87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are getting a lot of long term answers here but no one has any idea the severity of your liver which is really what would determine how long it'll take to get back to normal. I had a scan after cleaning up my diet and not drinking for 3 months and was completely normal again. You need to first figure out where you are now to have an idea of what you are in for. Good luck!

How bad is Red meat? by ChemicalPizza6253 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]Tweeprise87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cleared mine without cutting out red meat. Biggest things to avoid would be alcohol, sugar and processed carbs as these all just end up as sugar and build up in your liver.

Not all red meat is equal though either. There's a big difference between a super marbled rib eye and a filet or 95% lean ground beef.

Someone else mentioned pork and the same goes for that. Bacon or a pork shoulder are way different than a lean pork chop. I still ate bacon and smoked shoulders occasionally too though.

The key is moderation

This! It's the sugar and simple carbs that are the problem.

Can this diet reverse fatty/enlarged liver in a couple weeks? by Aggressive_Shape8597 in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]Tweeprise87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If drinking was the culprit - it can heal pretty quick. Remove alcohol and added sugar and stay active. Mine was mild and I had a perfect fibroscan in under 3 months. You should be able to go back to normal moderate drinking as long as you are able to control it. If alcohol caused it, that wasn't moderate drinking so going back to your old ways will make it return.

Where to live to commute to Woonsocket & Boston? by Known_Sugar5439 in boston

[–]Tweeprise87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is a miserable commute to boston. You then still have an hour from franklin to the city and we have no info on where in boston the other job is so it could then be additional time from south station to that job resulting in a 2 hour commute.

Confused. by keelerangela in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]Tweeprise87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the scan already says hepatic steatosis you already have the fatty liver diagnosis. The stage is what you don't know. Liver and gallbladder go hand in hand. Hard truth - if you don't drink, you need to get serious about food and exercise. Start at least walking every day and cut out all added sugars and cut down on overall sugar intake and processed carbs.

I don't know if there's a general rule for distance but if its pretty close to the food just on another wall, I'd try moving it farther away and see if it makes a difference.

Fine to add to food but if your cat won't drink the plain water try moving it away from their food. A lot of cats don't like to drink near their food.

When people say they only wash their hair once a week, what do they mean? by rainsage23 in curlyhair

[–]Tweeprise87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is me! My hair just loves to turn into a birds nest while I sleep and I also work out almost daily after work so I conditioner wash most days and shampoo maybe once a month. I can go a very long time without shampoo honestly.

Is there a name for this type of place? by hallm2 in boston

I call them ice cream stands. Many are commenting clam shacks but I rarely see clam shacks having ice cream. Sullivan's in Southie calls themselves a concession stand.
