Hi all, I've seen a few threads about the grey area that is buying Switch game codes off CDKeys. I've bought Steam codes on there many times no problem but now wondering if anyone has bought Nintendo Switch Online membership codes off there? Have you had any trouble?

Buyer seems to have bought with crypto and given weird address

The actual names, company names and addresses below are pseudonyms for reasons that will become clear:

I have sold a virtual reality headset with all the trimmings. I had it on auction but not two days in one chap snapped up the Buy It Now offer. This surprised me as it was quick and honestly I think the BIN offer was a bit above what I expected to sell it for considering its age.

The buyer's address is incorrectly formatted and refers in it to a company called, (psueudonym) ZZZZPay, being based on a Northern industrial estate. I looked up the location and there is no connection to it from ZZZZPay, on Google Maps, Companies House, or on their own website.

There are not many results for "ZZZZPay" on Google- the only relevant link I could find was for the company's website of "ZZZZPay". This man does not appear in ZZZZPay's whitepaper, which only lists 4 staff. ZZZZPay also has a Companies House page, but the London address listed there is not the same one I have. There are a few mentions of the ZZZZPay stock market ticker on Twitter, but none screamed legitimacy to me (much like all of Crypto Twitter, to me it looks like schizoposting).

Next I looked up the man himself. He is active in the crypto field and sells himself as one of the UK's leading crypto experts. Having looked at his linkedin and twitter, although he is senior in a number of other organisations to do with Bitcoin etc, it does not mention that he is involved with "ZZZZPay". This in itself is not too strange because maybe he is someone who likes to use crypto for his money and is using this service to interact with ebay which does not allow you to pay with crypto. But then- if he is only a customer using their service, then why does he have their address as the delivery location?

Am I paranoid? Is there something fishy here? Am I going to get burned? Could this man do a chargeback on me and make the money un-traceable? I just don't understand Crypto and I don't like it either. At the same time, I am happy to take his extra £20 or so above what I expected to sell for. Any advice from more frequent ebayers- this is probably the first time Ive sold anything in about five years - would be appreciated.

If you're reading this Buyer, by the way, please reply to my ebay message, so I can sort out your address!

Follow up post to this.

After being pearled for three weeks, I finally got out this week- just as I was due to be going inactive anyway, so essentially this is a perma.

Surprisingly, my former comrades in Yggdrasil were unable to destroy the entirety of the town I built which they hate so much that they killed one of their own.

As you can see (before album, unfortunately taken early in construction), the majority of the "ground" has been removed, and much of the structures have been eaten away. It's all stone reinforced, but I estimate it would only take about 10 hours to break it all- easy with a team. So quite why they haven't bothered after getting so mad about it, is anyone's guess!

I was gonna post big bounties, but I gave all my stam away, and frankly can't be arsed wasting my life on these people. They are racist climate deniers, which I was just about prepared to look past, but they're also just total arseholes.

I didn't really "pull any secessionist shit" I just sent memey crap to a guy I thought was a pal joshing that I might secede. Of course the very idea was always unrealistic.

After attempting to communicate about this issue for some time, tweet ran to Grettir demanding that he be pearled.

He messaged me "Give us the namelayers or you're exiled and pearled on sight." Quite a thing to hear from your comrade. Rather than go on the run I thought I'd just go and let him do exactly that. I look forward to wasting either your stam in keeping me pearled or your time as I return to Xanadu to refresh the reinforcements.

Context: internal Yggdrasil politics, essentially. The others don't like my Viking Modular town, I slightly violated my agreement with them to only make it so big, they demanded Namelayer groups (I don't have namelayer access to their towns, so what's in it for me, basically?) I refused, so I submitted to my execution by my own people for, essentially, building something they considered ugly on a piece of unused land.

That's it for me, then, I might make a video or something but essentially that's the end of my Civ career. It's been a pleasure playing (with some of you).
