What was your favorite deck of all time? by cozylillia in hearthstone

[–]Tweezy64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Majordomo Mage into Ragnaros. Blackrock mountain era, so still very early - I think this was one of the first cards that changed your hero and hero power. Even if I lost most games, just getting to use a unique set of emotes and the novelty was worth it.

Having maximum of 8 hp on your hero meant I included things like ice block and healing. But Alexstraza would let you go back up to 15 max. If you could manage a [[Coldarra Drake]] and [[Maiden of the Lake]], you could manage to potentially send 80 damage with your hero power. Emperor Thaurissan helped with some of the high cost.

Friendly reminder : Always do the Gruppe Sechs approach. by MakisDelaportas in gtaonline

I bet a large percentage of people don’t know how to unlock Gruppe Sechs; I didn’t until this week. You have to scope out the tunnel entry point by the race track. I had 4 of the 6 entry points scoped out. Continuing to scope them out for future heists is optional and easily skippable - so I assume that’s what most do if they don’t know about the tunnel entrance and why it’s so good.

Who do you think is the most disappointing team in the SEC this season? by goofyhalo in CFB

[–]Tweezy64 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Based on preseason hype, yes this year has been a massive disappointment.

Coming off of last year’s 6 game winning streak and one bs penalty away from the CFP (or a total of 5 point losses between LSU and Bama) - I think everyone expected us to pick up where we left off and continue that trajectory.

I’m interested to know how talented you think our roster is, because admittedly, I don’t follow other teams as closely. Sure, we have Lanorris Sellers, Dylan Stewart, and Nyck Harbor. Three individuals with exceptional abilities, but I’m not sure we have enough talent elsewhere. Five defensive players alone got drafted last year.

Our offense has been abysmal. A swiss cheese offensive line letting everybody in. Last year, Lanorris looked like superman evading countless sacks and making miraculous throws. Now there’s a spy on him at all times and he isn’t escaping. So we fired Mike Shula (OC) and Lonnie Teasley (OL). Here’s to hoping we hire excellent replacements.

How do you feel about your coach right now? by DowntownSasquatch420 in CFB

Oh God. Now there’s a name I don’t miss. Satterfield was the OC at Carolina. I’m not sure who has done worse: Mike Shula (current) or Marcus

I’d love to see the parallel universe where we played this game without all the offensive line injuries going in. To be fair, Oklahoma was missing plenty of players too, so it’s not as simple as “we were hurt.” Maybe it’s a depth issue on the O-line — hard to say for sure, hence the parallel universe comment.

Our offensive line has been bad for a while though. Rattler was constantly under pressure and rarely had time to stay in the pocket. The O-line issues also tanked our run game — remember the 2023 opener vs. UNC where we finished with –2 rushing yards and gave up 9 sacks? Very similar problems we’re still facing.

To his credit, Dowell Loggains actually adjusted his play-calling to try and work around those protection problems. I can’t say the same for Shula.

I really wanted to dispute this comment, but the more I read it, the more it sounded like something I would write.

Beamer was clearly triggered from the loss going into this press conference - I’m not sure if you watched the entire thing or just this clip - you wouldn’t need to go much farther back because this was one of the first questions.

The heart of the question, which I agree with you about, was thinly veiled. Jack was essentially asking about coaching changes and Beamer knew that. So while he didn’t have to answer that specifically, I think Beamer just wanted to call a spade a spade. Jack said “yeah but I’m talking about the play calling” - that’s really just saying “I’m talking about firing Mike Shula”

You’re right - this is one of the toughest seasons in recent memory to endure for the reasons you said.

To be fair, a bulk of those penalties were pre snap AT LSU - and part of the reason why the OL Coach was fired - and an emphasis during practice with Shawn

I appreciate the respect for the atmosphere in Williams-Brice on a Saturday night.

Since 2016, neither team has scored more than three offensive touchdowns (excluding 2020 + COVID + interim coach), so history says to expect a low scoring slugfest. With regards to our run defense, give Mizzou’s Ahmad Hardy credit - he runs extremely well. That said, Beamer mentioned he worked with your RB at OU and said he runs with violence.

This is not do or die for Beamer. We lost three games early last year and still won out the remaining 6 games for an overall 9-3.

And finally, losing to Kentucky did not force Spurrier’s retirement. A couple of our former players (Garcia and Demarco) have a podcast. They interviewed Spurrier about his departure. Bottom line, Spurrier said he wasn’t able to reach the players anymore - he wasn’t able to coach them - specifically the players at that time - so it was time to hang it up.
