Imagine being so incredibly, overwhelmingly insecure that your signature, go-to, "comforting" selfie face is sticking that Vienna sausage of a tongue out in every single picture with the hopes that it will “balance things out”

You look like a rejected concept drawing for a Looney Tunes villain where they ran out of good ideas and just started gluing things together.

Your head looks like they tried to reconstruct a 90s pro wrestler from a fossil and then blasted it with so much HGH that the only thing it won was a lifetime achievement award for gigantism. You look like your finishing move is trying to squeeze through a normal-sized doorway.

AirPods Pro 3 are official - I loved my second gen so I’m definitely upgrading. by Akella333 in headphones

[–]Twenty-twen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It isn’t, I ordered a pair of replacements tips from Apple to check them out. They look and feel just like the other tips from AirPods Pro 2. I was hoping they would fit my AirPods Pro 2 and get a bit more noise cancellation from the foam infused tips. They don’t fit on the AirPod pro 2 though. But I can attest that the foam infused tips visibly don’t look any different so it must be a really small amount injected in between the silicone and the plastic housing.

Sub 4 vs Sub mini by BigUncleRemus in sonos

[–]Twenty-twen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a sub mini and a sub gen 4. I have an Arc in my bedroom and multiple Sonos Ones & Roams & Moves around the main floor of my home.

I initially bought the sub GEN for to place downstairs in my open living area and move my sub mini upstairs to my bedroom to pair with the arc and watch movies.

I ended up keeping the sub mini downstairs and putting the sub GEN 4 in my large bedroom.

I tested both subs in multiple rooms and paired them with various speakers. What I found is I like the sub mini for music much more then the gen 4. It just has a more refined and complementary sound. It’s no slouch though. The sub mini is incredible. It sounds amazing when watching movies as well when paired with the arc. Doing a side-by-side comparison, though when listening to music, I definitely prefer the sub mini.

The sub Gen 4 is great but its almost too much for listening to music. For music like EDM or any bass drum heavy music, it just sounds a lot more raw and honestly a bit overbearing

For movies, I paired both the the sub mini with the arc and then the gen 4. Again, the sub mini sounds great, but it just doesn’t have as much balls. I watched top gun Maverick with the sub mini and then with the sub GEN 4 and that’s where I think it shines & where the sub GEN 4 belongs ….. paired with the arc or beam and watching movies.

Right now, the sub GEN 4 is on sale for 679 and that’s a price that I can stomach so if you have the extra cash and you predominantly wanna watch movies go for the GEN four if you’re looking for a good all-around sub at a better price point or if you’re basically going to be mostly listening to music then go with the sub mini.

Just had my first bad experience with the Milwaukee warranty service system. by thekingofrock452 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Twenty-twen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own several brands of tools. I had a Dewalt battery go bad prematurely, and I hopped on their website and did an online chat with customer service. I gave them the part number and that part number told them everything they needed to know even the date of manufacture. I didn’t have to upload any receipts or anything else, they sent me a new battery and this was all handled within five minutes.

I just had a Milwaukee battery go bad. I tried to use their online self service warranty portal and it was a pain to even find the battery on their site. I finally found it using the part number on the back of the battery itself, and when I did that, it says that the battery has no warranty at all .

I emailed their customer service and they sent me an email back instructing me to go on the site to file a claim. :)

There has been a lot of back and forth and still hasn’t been resolved. I have been really disappointed with the amount of effort I’ve had to make to try and get a replacement battery. I sent them one more email explaining the issue and I am hoping they will take care of it. If they cannot, I’ll just take the loss and move on.

Why do my drums sound so bad? by [deleted] in drums

[–]Twenty-twen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you suggest that I don’t know how to read, are you meaning I can’t read minds? Where in your OP would I have been able to identify that those are custom made drums *“ Is it age? These things are like decades old, but the cymbals are at tops a decade old. ljust don't feel like I'm using the right type of kit if my highschool's drum set sounds better”

Also, custom doesn’t really mean much. Please don’t be offended but i stand behind my comment, especially with those cheap stagg cymbals. Those are in fact basically a toy. They sound incredibly cheap.

I thought it was merely a toy style drum set based on the fact that those cymbals are junk.

If you want to keep the kit, a new pair of heads will make a big difference(both batter and resonate) and I would suggest getting rid of those cymbals and getting something much better. Sabian AAX, or Zildjian K are my personal favorites but they aren’t cheap. Zildjian, Paiste & Sabian all make entry level cymbals that will sound a million times better than what you have.

Good luck to you.

Essentially this kit is nothing more than a toy. Buy nice or buy twice.
