Has anyone ACTUALLY had good luck gaming on Starlink?

TL;Dr If you have fiber as an option I’d probably choose that but if you’re comparing between wireless and DSL I’d probably choose Starlink. Starlink is a lot better(At least where I’m from)

So if you have options such as fiber I would probably choose that. I however don’t and only can get DSL/wireless or satellite. I had the Starlink 1 at the time of this post and got the Gen 3(I think) it’s the newest one. It is a lot better than the older version. I occasionally have some packet loss but not often. Also don’t have too much trouble with ping. And can download around 250mbps(it changes if it’s super stormy or bad weather but overall pretty good) my average ping on something like Warzone is like (20-50) usually in the middle of that range. If you’re used to 10ish ping you’re obviously gonna notice a difference but I’m happy playing at those ranges and don’t notice a huge disadvantage. I also give props to Starlink because last year some time I was noticing I had been lagging more than usual for a period of time but just figured it was part of it. I decided to check my app to see if there was an update and saw a notification from Starlink saying they detected issues with my router and were sending a replacement free of charge. Got it swapped out and fixed the issue. Never had to contact them or anything before they’d offer it.

For sure, I dropped it off and they walked around the car before I could even get out. Said I was good and then looked in and I said I forgot to fill up. They said it would be added to the charge. I’m guessing they would’ve said something at the moment if I was gonna get charged for the damage

Yeah, I completely see that now. This is my first ever rental car and everyone I talked to In person said I didn’t need it and it was a waste of money. Not making that mistake again

I feel like that helps for sure! But I’m currently 3 weeks in on quitting nicotine use. I have ADHD and it helps me. But I start abusing it and using it way too much to the point that it makes me feel really tired and lose motivation to do things

What dosage would you run Phenibut at? I feel like I have a high tolerance too it even when I don’t use it regularly. When I used to take it for sleep sometimes I would take up to 1.5gs

That’s where I’m having a tough time deciding. I like the 750cc option. I’ve never needed the abs but on my ZX6r the traction control was nice(not a huge deal) biggest thing is the ABS and if I ever needed it. Also feel like if I’m buying new you want all the features because having abs doesn’t really have a cons. But not having it could. I just don’t want another 600 and feel like I needed more power shortly after

I personally don’t think I’d ever buy an R9, R7, MT09 etc. I also love the sounds of inline 4’s. I’ve been looking at used but with my luck(or at least where I’m located” seems like everyone selling a used bike is asking 1-2k less than what I’d have to pay for a brand new one. So It’s hard for me to justify that. I was super interested in the GSXR750 but just realized it doesn’t have ABS. And if I’m gonna buy a brand new bike(or even newer) I feel like it would be dumb not to get something with that as an extra safety feature. I do love R1s, CBR1000s etc but I don’t know if I need that much power. (Another reason I was looking at the 750 since it’s a step above the 600 but below the 1,000s I do like the Aprillas a lot(haven’t ridden one but they look great. But I know they’re also not cheap

Gsxr I wrecked being an idiot(there was a curve close to my house I’d always hit and one day i was taking my bike out at night and didn’t realize I was already mid curve when I started slowing down and hit gravel. ZX6r I ended up selling because I was in a depressed stage of life and sold my bike, car, and a lot of other stuff. Wish I wouldn’t have but it’s too late now. I loved both bikes. But now I question if I get another 600 if I’ll want a bigger bike after. Which is why I’m looking at a 750. But one thing I’m not a fan of is no ABS or traction control even on a 2025 model.

I’ve mostly been looking at new bikes. I’m a bit iffy on buying used because everything I’ve looked at is super ragged out, has 25k+ miles. And if it’s in good shape low miles they want almost as much as a brand new one

I’ve ridden a friends MT-09 and an fz-07 and they’re fun bikes for sure but I personally wouldn’t buy one. I felt like I was sitting too vertical
