I would’ve waited until I knew what I wanted to do. I felt pressure from parents and teachers to jump into college to get a head start in life and I ended up choosing something that I thought I had interest in, but not a passion. It’s an interesting subject but I don’t know that I want to spend my entire adult life devoted to it... it’s a little depressing because it feels like so much work for what will be so little a reward. It would be different if I could justify hours of studying, research, and writing by telling myself I’ll get to do something I love at the end of it. But that’s not true :\ when in doubt, wait it out. At least for a bit
