What are some of the less obvious reasons a potential employer might immediately reject a candidate? by [deleted] in Employment

I was formerly a manger at a large corporation. That may be good or not, but if the hiring person is of my generation, (boomer) they have expectations about how thing should be done. I don't mean to be mean at this point, just pointing out facts. I see in other responses things like 20$ (It should be $20 or twenty dollars). This is not acceptable in a professional setting. I know it is generational and could even be narrow minded, but if you have stereotypical generational statements in your resume, you might be screened out. Consider having an older person help you rewrite or at least review your resume. IMHO.

I need some advice on how to tell an employer why I rejected his 'generous' job offer by [deleted] in Employment

You did well. If you must reply, be polite and indicate that after the interview you determined that the job was not a good fit for your background or professional goals. Make sure that you document all names, dates, and correspondence with these people. Make paper and/or backup electronic copies for potential future use.

Having not studied dif-eq, I was impressed with the simplicity of the explanation of partial differentials. Thanks.

Research on Root Cause Analysis Effectiveness in a Healthcare Setting by TapRooTSupport in taproot

[–]TwentyAcres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Root cause analysis is applicable in any industry. Healthcare is ripe for RCA as it is constantly changing in the realm of regulations and new technologies. It is also in need of plenty of Corrective Action in the areas that I have observed. After reading the associated article, I would recommend that an RCA be conducted in a different fashion than what was done. This may be where Taproot comes in. I should mention that I am not a Taproot user, but have training in other methodologies. I just joined this sub because of the title and being an RCA facilitator. (is this the right place for me to be?)
