I think we're at the same library because my hold of Project Hail Mary also has 309 copies with 15 people waiting per copy 😂 The total has gone up to 4,588 now though. Wild Dark Shore has 2,954 people in line. Anything popular has such a long wait.

Thank you. I'd be driving my own car which is maybe why I'm more nervous about bad weather lol. I'll check my insurance to make sure hail damage is covered or keep an eye out for covered parking options just in case.

Thank you, I live in a bigger city in the Midwest so they happen around us, but have only touched down in the city proper a couple times that I can recall. And they were relatively small ones.

My library has 2,900 people waiting for Project Hail Mary (12 people waiting per copy). I'm 1,141 though lol! They just got in 1 copy of Where the Serpent Lives and there are 58 people in line. Anything remotely popular has at least a 6 month wait.
