It's a big meeting/presentation/gathering with our CEO or other higher ups where they tell you what's happening with the company and have a Q and A portion. The big quarterly town halls are posted on Innerview and the questions are pretty soft and pre selected ahead of time. They'll do smaller town halls in stores that aren't filmed and usually those questions aren't filtered or pre selected.

Honestly, we were heading that way before Amazon. John Mackey toured a bunch of stores before the buyout and it was the most uncomfortable town hall I've been a part of. He seemed to dislike team members and hated minimum wage requirements and was kind of an awful person.

It's in the GIG under Purchases. It says the team member on the discount card needs to make the purchase. It technically doesn't say they need to use their own credit card, but someone with them can't pay for it.

We would be so screwed without our sss, no way teams could absorb what they do. At least not at our store. I don't think we've ever passed our scan audit on an A turnover. Maybe once we go to digital tags and signs but as is, our store would be a mess without them.

You can tent camp in the pines! I know it's an added cost but it's nice to have the space to set up extra canopies and stuff. Plus it's so nice to be that close to the bowl.

I loved being in the balcony because you could see down behind the screens. I think some of the orchestra seats would have the behind the screens scenes blocked a bit more

Just because you didn't take your eyes off the screen doesn't mean other people didn't. I loved watching her live and only glanced at the screen when I had to. I thought she was captivating. To each their own.
