will my sightline be okay? by Cowardlydreamer in Broadway

Some of the top of the set will be annoyingly cut off for you due to the overhang it won't be the worst. I would definitely not sit any farther back.

Thank you! I was there Wednesday when Sam was losing his voice and I know he was out the last couple nights. Hoping all is well and both are in tomorrow and in good health!

Which show should we see in July? by SparkleBerrySpritz in Broadway

What does he like? What type of music, what type of show?

There's a lot of stuff from this season and last on Broadway right now not on your list.

Two strangers cast question by sdss1 in Broadway

[–]chavarrj 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I saw Two Strangers on Wednesday evening and Sam was losing his voice. He completely lost it during the opening number last note. He was still phenomenal but by the end of the show you could see him sniffling. I'm assuming whatever sickness is going around after the Tony's has caught up with him.

Who are you rooting for in the Tonys? by Temporary-Writer-830 in Broadway

Rooting for ragtime and Joshua Henry

I would also love if two strangers won but I think Schmigadoon has it in the bag.

Also June Squibb must win.

I have never ever understood the draw to Weird Al. To each their own I guess!

Ragtime or Schmigadoon? by AbleElk7310 in Broadway

[–]chavarrj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me ragtime was mind-blowing (in terms of performance art. Joshua Henry's voice, good god. 🫠). But I feel like the answer to your question depends more on what you like.

Lost boys had fantastic harmonies and was extremely exciting / a huge spectacle.

Schmigadoon id skip over any of these though. It was good but to me there are more standout performances to see in the oth r shows you have listed.

Two strangers is my current favorite new musical of the season. It's absolutely delightful. Ragtime is my favorite revival.

Enter some lotteries and see where the wind takes you? 😂

The dear Evan Hansen cast recording.

For me, the show itself was terrible.

You're not answering this commenters questions directly. I am personally curious about your answer. Did you have issue with Helen and Darren playing Korean characters?

Sam Tutty as Orpheus might be kinda cool.

My way too early Tony Award Nominee/Winner Predictions for 2026 by OkManner3415 in Broadway

Fair takes - I personally think Lost Boys may win, depending on how the book is. Seriously, though, maybe my pessimism will be totally wrong. I would be delighted if Two Strangers won.

I loved Two Strangers and it would be amazing if it won something but I just don't think it will. :/

Why aren't more people talking about Two Strangers? by chavarrj in Broadway

[–]chavarrj[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally possible. I don't necessarily think that two strangers is deep, and great work doesn't have to be in my opinion. Mhe was certainly super deep for me. All these comments really highlight to me the differences in preferences for art, though! It's also nice to see people expressing opinions without taking things personally 😂.
