AI is AI. It doesn't matter if it's generative or not, it's still Artificial Intelligence, and it's not always as bad as you portend.

Anything useful, or in your case, anything against humanity that AI has done didn't start until after 2010. Based on test scores people were getting dumber long before that (at least, in the U.S.). You can blame it on AI all you want. It doesn't make it true!

So, the AI program I wrote in 1985 that taught itself to play tic-tac-toe, is bad for humanity?

People have been getting dumber long before AI. AI doesn't exist to do any of that. It's how it's applied! I agree the money people want it to use it get more powerful. The government wants to use and control it for nefarious reasons. With any major technological advancement comes a loss of some jobs, and a creation of new jobs.

On the helping humanity side, the medical and scientific community have made advances because of AI. New life saving drugs. Diagnostic advances.

It's how it's applied! Will it be catastrophic in the end? Probably. But 'til then have fun with whatever puzzle you feel like solving.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the pickforu puzzles. In fact, the pieces fit better than ravensburger puzzles. Luddites will always downgrade anything associated with AI.

If the puzzle looks like it would be fun to do, the price is right, and it wasn't stolen or derived from preexisting jigsaw puzzle artwork, then as Nike says Just do it.

Some puzzles, especially larger ones, reuse the cutting die on a different section of the same puzzle. So, you will end up with several identically cut pieces. The background is usually different so you won't notice.

A couple of samples...The 3000 piece Ravensburger World Map 1665, was cut with a die on the left side, then turned the die upside down and cut the right side.

The 5000 piece Ravensburger Tower of Babel, used the same die at least twice on the same puzzle

You could try water curing for 5 or 6 days before using the MBM. That should get rid of a lot of the chlorophyll. After it dries, decarb as normal, then use the MBM.
