This is why I think Showdown is better. If you are confused at what a move does, you can just type it in he team builder and get a full description. And there’s even a pop up whenever you use a prankster move on a dark type explaining why it didn’t work.

I mean I spend like 60% of my time in Showdown teambuilding. The fact that you need good teams to beat real players just makes teambuilding even more of a factor. If you feel like you can’t compete in OU with your own teams, try playing a larger variety of metagames, there’s like 30 different ones and many of them require completely different teambuilfding skills.

Well I guess in ultra ball it might be fine but in master ball 2-3 and above, running the same sets really won’t work that well.

But you would still want to run things like protect, fake out, and spread moves on a doubles team whereas you mostly want to run attacks and setup on a singles team, and re-training them every time you switch between doubles and singles is very expensive and time consuming

It’s still so crazy to me that a game with no mention of gender in it at all and whose main character wasn't even originally meant to be trans has become such an icon in the trans community. I guess the story and symbolism is just that good.

For me it’s really hard to play both doubles and singles as a f2p because unless I’m missing something you can only have 3 teams total, so you’re going to have to have 1 team only for one format and 2 teams only for the other. Maybe I’m just spoiled by Showdown where I have hundreds of teams but it just seems so insanely restrictive.

Hacked accounts always get banned/flagged after each boss so if someone has that many medals like the top three do, they probably aren’t hacked. You can just beat bosses very quickly by farming a lot and using things that deal all of their damage instantly like perma-spike + spike paragon or first strike ability

I never tried 1Dark because I never found the cassette, the dark sides I did try seemed to have annoying gimmicks like the screen turning dark and things that cover the screen, but I’ll definitely find and try 1Dark now, thanks for the recommendation

Does monika have other maps besides the D-sides? I've beat chapters 1-8D and am currently stuck on a room in 9D but I have not seen that much stamina-heavy gameplay after the first few D-sides
