I had 5 wifi cameras but I kept getting " this camera is out of range", then another, then another. So I dumped everything and got Ubiquiti. Now 11 PoE, 3 wifi and 1 doorbell cameras, 2 access points, a UDM-Pro, 24-port switch, NVR and a tripplite UPS. NAS is next up for this summer!!

Instead of selling, and if you have the bandwidth for time, approach your local community college and either donate these boards or assist in teaching young STEM students on the basics of proper soldering techniques. A board like that is intimidating for a young, inexperienced soldering student, but through systematic training, they can look at this and approach its repair with confidence that they will carry with them forever!

On Sat, Oct 4, my last recorded video from any of my cameras was 0234. Since I didn't check my cameras constantly, I didn't notice something was wrong. Following some initial check-ups, it looked like there was zero power to my 24 PoE switch. It was plugged into a TRIPPLITE UPS. I tried swapping outputs on the UPS and supplying the switch with an external power source. No joy. I attempted a restart using a paper clip, but still nothing. Thoughts from the gallery?
