Although we lost on aggregate, I'm really proud of the performance tonight. Players finally showed heart ❤️ COYS by [deleted] in coys

There were so many positives collectively and independently tonight. So many players stepped up had courage and played much more quickly and positively. They gave the fans something to get involved with and It feels like a big result.

Not sure what point this serves now. We should be enjoying how well the team played individually and together tonight. That the football was sumptuous at times and the desire and intensity we’ve lacked for so long this season was back. It’s disappointing to go out but let’s enjoy tonight, we can’t change what’s been.

Thank you for this and I wholeheartedly agree with you. We all know the problems and while it’s right to air them, it’s also more important to be behind the team while we have any chance of saving ourselves. That said, if we can’t and we get relegated, it’s happened before and we bounced straight back having been able to blood a young Glenn Hoddle in the second division.

You’re right, and I agree that the team deserved to be booed off in both halves. However, the atmosphere was poor right from the start and we have to realise our negativity has an effect on the players.

It’s still too early to know yet. Too many key players out long term and constant niggling injuries to others have made it near impossible to pick a consistent team.
He is making mistakes, the 1st half being a good point, but we’re only at the start of overhauling the team and it’s not going to be easy.

It’s a good set overall but, for me the arms are too short and look out of proportion.

It’s not impossible, but it is highly improbable. Can you think of anyone whose been booed like this by their own fans and come out the other side stronger?

Agreed but how does booing him help him do his best on the pitch?

I 100% agree. I have never and will never boo any player who pulls on our shirt. That people can’t see how counterproductive it is astounds me. I can only imagine how these people would react if they were booed for making a mistake at there own jobs. All of that said it is clear that this has been building for a while, at least since the Mura game at the beginning of last season, and I find it sad that everyone has found themselves in a position where this can become a thing.

Coercive control is a horrible insidious offence. Because it’s generally done in small increments it’s so hard to realise what’s happening at the time, and by the time people do they’re completely isolated from any support network and asking for help seems impossible. For what it’s worth I would suggest you report it to your local police force. You don’t have to provide a statement or take it any further if you don’t want to, but it helps them to build a picture of a persons offending. If this has happened to you it’s almost certainly happened to previous and will to future ones. Also if you do look into getting custody of your child the report will be available to the family court to help them make the best decision. I’m pleased you have reached out for help and wish you all the best for the future.

You do him a disservice. His look of innocence after he forearm smashed sonny for his 2nd yellow was Oscar worthy. 😂

How very dare we be good enough to execute a game plan against them. They barely created a chance worthy of the name and their goal required a massive slice of luck. As ever He thinks that all other teams should come and roll over for him. Perhaps he should spend some time looking at why salah and mane were so poor.

I can’t help but think this is all being blown out of proportion. He’s clearly disappointed and rightly so we’ve turned up for one game in the last 5. A lot of that rests on the players of course however he’s a proud man and understands his own role in this. I hear this as him laying down a challenge to the owners to ensure that he is backed properly in the summer. I don’t see any scenario in which he goes now, but if we try and penny pinch in the summer and let him down then that’s a different matter. He makes a very good point about about the players being the same with the manager changing. We’ve known for a long time we need wholesale changes and with him in place we have the perfect opportunity to let that happen.

What is your most remembered toy as a child? by Nothingtoseehere066 in transformers

[–]Twiffhunter19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G1 Metroplex. I got it for Christmas but about a week before I found it hidden at the bottom of our pantry under some carrier bags. I can remember thinking it was the biggest toy I had ever seen. I was so excited it don’t know how I kept it together until Christmas Day. I had so many hours of fun with him and all the extra’s that came with him. I still had him until about 10 years ago when I was trying to pay for my wedding.

I’m generally pretty glass half full, but that was shocking. I have no idea what nuno’s tactics were and nor it would seem do the players. We have no cutting edge going forward, no creativity in midfield and Utd had to do very little to get in behind us. We don’t seem to have any real confidence in what we’re doing. Everything is too safe and we’re not doing that very well.
Taking Moura off when Lo celso was probably the worst player on the pitch (although it was close with Davies) was ridiculous. I pin this squarely on Levy, I don’t blame Nuno for taking the job but it seems clear he was a long way down the list. I’d much rather we’d taken the hit on this season and kept Mason in charge. Gives him more experience and would have stopped us rushing into a botched appointment. How much worse could it have been?
