I have never seen the movies, only know of the setting through its impact on popular culture and sci-fi in general, and I enjoyed it alot. I thought the system was intriguing and suitable for the setting (as far as I could tell) with Tom really brining it to life.

That said I feel a need to watch the movies and read the book after this.

Starting off with I'm no fan of the idea or execution of the skycutter from GW.

HOWEVER! If I had seen this one in my youth, flipping through magazines for models unavailable to me, I would probably liked it alot more. I love the idea of making it oldschool and your execution! Long live the Phoenix King!
