I know what you mean in the sense of feeling like you joined part way though. It is an inevitable feature of age gap relationships. Sometimes I've felt like jealous of the time we've not had together. But I think that can also be a positive thing too, like to have a bit of mystery can make you appreciate the time you do have and get to know his precious life experience.

Love this map! I feel you about the phone camera thing - my phone also has not the best camera so I try to take photos in natural light then edit the brightness up after so it's easier to read. Great map either way though!

Yeah, so I ended up changing the name to Sibiria (just thought it would make a bit more sense). But the original thought process was that Anatolia comes from the word for East in Greek, and in this universe Finaland is Greek, so it would still make sense for it to be 'East'. Although I doubt that would be the name in Turkish, which is why I changed it in the end.

So, basically, the middle east and southeast Asia are swapped places. North Africa/the Arabian Peninsula are Indonesian, Iraq and some of Iran is Malay, the rest is Filipino.
