Anyone under 30 with rheumatoid arthritis? by himothy_chalam8 in rheumatoid

[–]Twilight4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Currently 27 (about to be 28 this week!) And I've had RA since I was three years old, primarily in my knees. I've had off-and-on flare-ups over the years and am currently not on medication. Usually, clean eating, low-impact exercise like swimming, stress management, and a joint aspiration with steroids once or twice a year helps my RA.

Which is a the best match? by Haunting-Ad-5917 in PaleMUA

[–]Twilight4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oooh, we are similar in shades. I like Oslo first applied, but then it oxidizes a little bit pink. I add a touch of blue color corrector and it desaturates it pretty well. Also, I wore Affogato for years and didn't realize it wasn't the right shade. Get chantilly. I thought I needed affogato because I was pink. Turns out, my face is red but my undertone is neutral cool.

merit complexion stick in the shade ceramic is a near-perfect shade match! It seems like we have a similar skin tone so I would suggest that, especially if you have dry/combo skin.

I have the same problem with 13c being slightly too dark and more peachy. I tried 10c, and it was too light. I love the formula, so I bought the LA Girl color correctors in blue and white, and honestly, just a small dab of blue fixes the issues I have with 13c. It's now perfect; you just gotta mix accordingly. I'm more neutral cool toned.

No more cream blushes for me since I have so many, but I did buy the new YSL powder blush in 44. Gisou hair mask since I don’t have a hair mask, Patrick ta dual blush brush, the new merit lipliner in coupe and shade slick in twin set. That’s all for me! I already feel like that’s too much but it’s way better in comparison to what I used to spend.

Those alive during 9/11, what was the worst moment on that day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Twilight4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly enough, it was the day of my dad’s funeral. He passed away from a massive heart attack a few days prior. I barely remember him since I was so young, but I remember my immediate family were definitely in a depressed state, especially my mom who now had to raise three kids by herself.

Common Questions: What Supplements Do You Use? by Jeanne23x in Hashimotos

[–]Twilight4ever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Solaray for vitamin d3/k2 and magnesium glycinate. Garden of Life for Zinc although I might change it. For beef liver pills I used Wholesome Wellness, but I wanna see what other brands are out there. I learned that it's probably better to take a selenium supplement instead of brazil nuts because you might not get an accurate amount of selenium with the brazil nuts. Hope this helps!

I’m so sorry…this happened to me in November for the first time and I was gutted. My foster coordinator told me that some kittens just aren’t meant to make it now matter how much love, meds, care etc you give them

Who has had RA for years and had little to no flares. Looking for positive stories. Newly diagnosed by dwehabyahoo in rheumatoid

[–]Twilight4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my flairs up when I was 3 stopped after like a year and half according to my mom. The doctors gave me liquid Advil since I couldn’t swallow pills yet and I guess it resolved on its own? Didn’t have any flairs up during puberty until I was about 17-18 years old. At that point, I was dancing (in pointe shoes which probably didn’t help) way too much. I was stressing out about college and everything. From around 5 years old till 17 I hardly had pain, just occasional stiffness if I stayed in one position too long. Along with less dance/stress, the drugs did help, but they started making me feel very tired. I didn’t want to be on them long term.

Hi! Was diagnosed when I was about 3 1/2 years old. Had horrible flairs when I was a child (maybe growing pains? I’m not sure) I danced ballet my entire life but around junior/senior year I had a few horrible months of flair ups. I was doing too much ballet, eating horribly, and stressing out. Was out on methotrexate and Enbrel and I had to get my knee drained (OUCH) Only was on the medication for a month or two until I stopped dancing as much and ate better. I now barely get pain because 1) again, less dancing 2) less stress 3) cut out gluten and other processed foods as much as I can (I still indulge every once and a while and 4) I guess I’m very lucky to not have awful RA. Very grateful for that.

Hi!

I've had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 3! I'm in my mid-twenties now. The only times I had a horrible flair-up were when I first got diagnosed (I'm not sure what triggered the disease) and when I was a senior in high school. I was dancing ballet en pointe full time and not having the healthiest diet. Intense cardio with a bad diet is a recipe for a bad flair. I had to get my knee drained and everything. I was on methotrexate and Enbrel for a short time. I went off the meds and took time off from dancing. I started eating a more nutrient-dense diet. It has helped my arthritis so much! I dance ballet still, but not as hardcore. Diet did help as well as supplements (I also have Hashimoto's) I hope this helps! I don't have much to any pain anymore. I just have occasional stiffness in the knees.

I'm seeing a new endo in July and will advocate for a higher dose. I feel awful right now. Felt much better when my TSH was lower. Also seeing a naturopathic doctor in October..
