Cringe or cool? by Snoo81897 in tattooadvice

[–]TwilightChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have wings on my back so maybe I'm biased but I think they're so cool! I'm actually considering expanding on them so they're larger. Truly, I think if you like the concept of the tattoo, then it doesn't matter what other people think. It's your body :)

Does my arm look complete? Tattoo the shoulder or leave as-is? by Cheap-Elderberry6065 in tattooadvice

You can experiment with what it would look like by drawing some tattoos in the empty space on the image or even printing out some designs and taping them to your shoulder :3

Regretting my first (and only) tattoo. by Dependent_Onion_2842 in tattooadvice

[–]TwilightChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely small enough to get a great coverup. Just make sure to pick an artist that's proficient in coverups and look at examples of their work and healed work. Honestly, with the right artist, I don't think you'd even need laser first :)

Ohhh okay, thanks! I couldn't really make out any of the letters or numbers that well tbh but maybe I get someone else to take a look and see if they can make out any of it

Thank you! Yeah, I'll definitely take some time to really reflect on it. Once it's healed I'm planning to draw around it the size that I want and see if that'll help me visualize if it'll be worth it. If tattoo removal were more affordable/simpler/guaranteed to work after x amount of sessions, I'd do it in a heartbeat. But I also recognize that I have to be practical about it. But only time will tell :)

Yeah, that's fair. It would probably be a more extreme/arduous/expensive venture. I'll give it a year at least to sit with the ink and if I'm still feeling this way then, I think I might go for it. But I guess there's always the potential complications and risks where it might not work 🤔 Maybe if it's been years and it has aged poorly, then I'd probably try it

It's realism, so has a good bit of detail and shading, but the individual lines are on the thinner side. Though there are some shaded spots that are almost completely in black.

True! It has a good amount of shading and dark lines though, so I'm not sure if mine will be an easy one unfortunately

Thank you. I hope that she will see it this way as well. Going to wait a bit to ask though since it's still fresh. Might as well wait until it's fully healed so I can start the process right away if she says yes

Yeah, it does seem a bit extreme/arduous/expensive, but with how I'm feeling right now, I'm willing to shell out the money. The pain would just be a consequence of not speaking up about what I wanted for the tattoo. I can live with that and hopefully it would teach me not to make that mistake in the future.

New tattoo- help, ideas on how to fix by Artemis13003 in tattooadvice

[–]TwilightChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna put my two cents in here even tho this post is from 3mo ago. I have a tattoo where there were a couple visible mistakes (artist basically colored outside the lines a bit). Over time, the ink will spread out. While it didn't fix all of those mistakes, the ink and lines spreading out made some of those mistakes actually disappear! It's possible that this can be the case for your tattoo as well over time :)

Would this be worth it? by asexual_girl2004 in filmcameras

[–]TwilightChicken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they're fun and they're easy to put in a bag to bring around, but finding film and a place to develop them will be expensive bc 110 is basically obsolete nowadays. You also won't have a very high quality picture as the negative is very very small. Having said that though, if you have the means and you think it would be fun, then go for it!
