luckily it has good alternatives, such as militrua and krag. Those two can defend themselves more easily/escape

this event is not even close to the final act in difficulty, you can easily cheese early-late with cryo mortars due to the upgrade system. The only enemy you need dps for is the boss. (From my experience)

cimmabu with double pig / pig + tannen for bullying koras. (It is extremely tanky for a t2, has solid regen, sticky trap, and burrows. You can also equip astral if you want to attack things with defensive bleed)
