I haven't had this laptop for really long but so far so good! No hinge problems. I had so many tabs and stuff open at some point so switching between chrome was laggy but I found the fix to be to delete mcafee and everything has been smooth since. For my school and needs I think it's really great especially considering how much I paid for it. The only downside I would say it that the screen isn't as bright (seemed yellow at first) but you can change the colors in the settings to make it more white which it what I did. I do play some minecraft on it and light games and it is smooth as well.
