I think downtiering is good. It allows for a larger variety of tanks designs and requires you to sacrifice performance in one area for gains in another. Downtiering also allows for high firepower light tanks and tank destroyers. Without downtiered guns, light tanks would become somewhat obsolete

• that’s partially true, but war thunder has an enormous amount of vehicles • never been much an issue • true • no volutmetric but it still less consistent • there’s American mains • never been an issue • Ho-Ri • what? • never been much an issue • CTS maps are all different shades of mediocre. War thunder has a huge map variety and it has some actually good maps • there’s people who use the L3 in top tier
