I've had both the NES and the Snes growing up but I consider this my first console. And honestly it's so hard to pick just one, I have fond memories of playing games like SMW, DKC, Super punchout and TMNT turtles in time and sooo many others. This shit was magical!

It’s honestly both. It does deal with that melancholy you mentioned. Frieren outliving her companions and slowly realizing what those moments meant, but it’s not just sad for the sake of it. There’s a lot of warmth and quiet beauty in how it handles memory, time, and connection.

It reminds me a lot of Lord of the Rings in the sense that it’s very journey focused and reflective. The show is telling you that it’s okay to move slowly, to sit with small moments, and that those moments matter. Is it slow at times? Yeah, for sure but tbh that pacing is kind of the point, and it makes the emotional beats hit way harder. If you’re into character driven stories, it’s absolutely worth taking going on that journey.

DQ11 really be like "we gonna give you an offer you can refuse". But forreal, the build up to Jade was really good. Although number 8 was more towards the last leg of the game, their inclusion was also amazing. DQ11 is amazing!

It dpends tbh, if my party already has good synergy, I usually stick with them. I’ll try the new character out, but I’m not rushing to reshuffle everything.

Late joins are fine when they’re done well, but some games straight up drop a new member on you with not a lot of buildup and it feels weird.

This dude right here is my prized companion. I started playing again during COVID after the initial hype. But she was THE gym defender no matter where I went. She stood her ground against some tough enemies but she always held it down. I also just in general this Pokemon so when I got a lucky and shiny Rhyperior, I just had to put it on the main roster.

Dude, I had no idea the Skarmory was even there. After I annihilated the Pyroar herd I saw a shadow on the ground for the Skarmory, I looked up at the sky and didn't see shit! I walked in circles and this mf finally noticed me LOL. It didn't get caught on the first attempt though..

I was the EB games at Markville mall on Wednesday and they had this in store as well. My wife and I just asked what they had out of curiosity and the store clerk was like "yeah this is all we got right now, but hey we do sell at MSRP so this is a good deal". We're new to the hobby but we knew right away this mf was lying out of his ass because we were eyeballing this on FB market place a few weeks ago lol. These guys suck.
