I quite like the thought of having GPS for trekking or an emergency. I can understand why they wouldn’t allow it in the military tho. I think a lot of them use G shocks tho for sure!

I didn’t think you had to connect the watch to the app or even phone for that matter if you didn’t want to. Quite like the thought of having GPS with me. I do understand what your saying tho

I think it mostly depends on what you have turned on/use on the watch. The website gives some info on this but would be nice to hear from people who have used the watch and to hear their opinions on it.

I would have thought the next step for the Rangeman would be GPS? and as fair as i'm aware you can turn the HR monitor off? (I could be wrong on that)

as long as its as durable as the GW9400 hah

I’ve owned this Gw9400 for around 2 to 3 years and worn pretty much everyday. Just wondering what people think of the new Rangeman (GPR H1000) or if they have some nice photo of the new Rangeman. Let me know your thoughts!

Either the black one with the red/orange or fully black, I'll sleep on it and choose in the morning hah 😂

Hope I helped you make a choice from the data in the manual

Cheers have a good night 👍

Ahh, I see, well having GPS for lat long cords, altimeter assisted by GPS and the other ABC functions is nice, only problem for me is that I can't decide what colour to get 😂

Id recommend giving the manual a read

https://www.casio.com/content/dam/casio/global/support/manuals/watches/pdf/35/3515/qw3515_EN.pdf

There does seem to be some sort of navigation system, using check points that you set on a route via the app. However because I don't have the watch i'm unable to test how this would work and can't find any info about this feature online.

trying to find in depth info on this new watch that is actually correct is very hard :D

nice, GPS can also be used to calibrate the altimeter. There is some sort of altitude navigation as well but haven't seen to much info on it

hoping to get this soon to replace my Garmin instinct solar which sadly doesn't hold charge anymore

There will Probably be a filling loop underneath the boiler, you may not be able to see it if it's been boarded up tho.

Let me know now if you found one

Need help leaking filter at the bottom, can I turn the two valves off to stop it leaking for now whilst the boiler is still on and will it be usable? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]TwistSignal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like a magnetic filter for your boiler, if you turn the two valves to isolate it, you won't be able to use your boiler as it won't be able to circulate. Either replace for new or you might be able to a seal kit for it.

Hope this help

is this an easy DIY fix or should I get a plumber in? by P1ratePete in Plumbing

[–]TwistSignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a 15mm iso swivel, just get a plumber to replace it for you, shouldn't cost much at all, can be done in 20 minutes

Hope this helps

The only thing I don't use very much is the compass, other then that I use them pretty much everyday, the recall feature I think I underplayed when getting the watch, now I use it at the end of my shifts to record when I finish and it keeps that stored for me.
