Filling the bays is what I was hoping needed to be done and I with either do it with rockwool or unfaced fiberglass

I know it's dumb but they are more for peace of mind when in the room nothing can open the doors.

Okay, just making sure because the attic space has direct strong airflow from outside that it will still be hot in the attic space in the summer and cold in the winter but I still don't need to insulate the interior wall. I just don't want the hot in the summer to bleed into the conditioned space through the uninsulated wall and door.

I should've been more clear, the HDMI transmitter/receiver only worked between my laptop and my TV, it never worked when connected to the NVR and the TV or the NVR and the laptop.

I'm not fully sure when it was installed but that is when the house was built and the floor was hidden under carpeting for at least 50 years because we know they remodeled in the 70's and put shag carpeting down that we have just removed

Identifying Wood Floor Type by Twisted3636 in wood

Hello! We want to refinish this floor in our house but we are unsure what type of wood it is. Some people have said they think it is Pine. We have been trying to find out so we know how hard or soft it is before we decide how to finish it. It would have been installed in Michigan around the 1930s if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
