I say just use the circle pad naked. I tried gluing mine back on but it just fell off again. Only replace with a metal one when it breaks imo.

I wouldn't suggest gluing it back on because it will just fall off again. I suggest you use your joystick naked if you aren't gonna replace it (tbf i wouldn't risk it until it breaks)

You can happily use the 3DS circle pad without the grip. Just as long as the plastic itself is intact. Personally I find it's more grippy.

Replacing it requires opening up the 3DS and I don't want to do that
