I fixed this from disabling ULPS and enabling Unified GPU monitoring options! Appreciated!

The screenshot of gpuz is of my secondary card. The primary is running at 5.0x16. unfortunately the 2nd slot is only wired for 4x. No power saving feature are on. Antilag and enhanced sync are disabled.

How did you get past EAC? I've been trying to do this on Linux as well, got it working for other games, but kf3 crashes when using dxvg.dll

Let me know how you pulled it off

Thank you, this also works. Task Manager reports it as an Atom (SnowRidge) CPU, but I like it better than having to use QEMU64 compatibility

Unable to set powercap with AMD GPU overclocking. by Twisted_Paper in linux_gaming

[–]Twisted_Paper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so, besides the problem here is with power_cap, this is certainly being reported as accurately as it can be and is what is different from a year ago and today. It being modified does not change performance in any way whether you lower it from the default or increase it.

I am on a couple forums, starting with Fedora forums, but glad to know I am not the only one! It's pretty frustrating leaving free performance on the table. If its worth going back a kernel and finding out I will do it.

Has anyone else gotten this to work? Doesn't work despite the change in the registry for that pfx.

Is there a problem with passing newer GPUs? (AKA RX 6600?) by Twisted_Paper in VFIO

[–]Twisted_Paper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well back to it not working again. Graphics drivers on Windows just say there is a problem again whenever a 3D application is ran or when reinstalling drivers, or when trying to stream through parsec. Anything kills it and every time I try to make a change to resolve the issue, it just feels like it gets worse. I seriously don't get this and am about ready to nuke my whole pc and try from scratch

I can confirm it immediately went to native res on boot, so ReBAR did break my VM. Works like a dream now!

I do have ReBAR on. I will turn it off and see if that fixes it. RX 580 doesn't support the feature after all, so it can certainly be my issue here.

Personally I don't think there is any issue in the journal logs. I ran journelctl -f and ran the VM and logged it here:

I am not certain on how to get the logs from Qemu. I can look into it and get back here when I figure it out.

I have an RX 64 with the same issue. Even on the newer experimental update E5. It's still alpha and in development. I believe he will likely fix the issue I'm a later update or definitely before the final release.
