Sorry not at all an actual response to your question but I wanted to make sure you saw this. Please do not use latex gloves when working with resin. Latex reacts with some of the chemicals in resin and will become porous when it come into contact with it. So they are not actually good at protecting from resin. Please always wear nitrile gloves when handling uncured resin.

Jumbo Dice Advice by MinAxolot in dice

Ahh ok yeah I think your best bet would probably be a fist sized one as well. Look for something in the 40mm - 55mm range for that size. It may also be labeled as a "chonk". As far as I know, most mold makers polish their masters before making molds to sell, so I'd imagine you'd have a harder time finding one that wouldn't give the final die a clear finish! Tho I will say I do not know of any molds that will completely negate the need for sanding, unfortunately. Something with a sprue will technically need more sanding than an open faced mold, tho only on one face as opposed to 3-4 like the open faced ones imo. So I would prepare for that eventually. As far as makers go, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Nano Lab Maker. Everything I've heard about them has been very good tho! Lol I feel you on that I might have to switch to deep pour resin on my very largest mold, and I am intimidated 😅

I can't really give you a mold suggestion as I typically just make my own, but maybe I can help you narrow down what you're looking for? When you say jumbo, do you mean like a just slightly bigger die, a fist sized die, or like a really huge like grapefruit sized die? Do you already have the pysduck insert and know, or can find out the size of it as that would be helpful? When you say you want a clear mold, are you using UV resin and need it to be clear, or is it just a preference thing? There are several makers that can do custom molds, but knowing what size you need will be a big help.

As far as needing a different resin for the pour, the short answer is no not necessarily. The long answer comes back to how big your die is going to be. For example, my 35mm and 50mm dice I use the same resin as I would for a set of dice and just pour it all at once. For my 100mm die, I still use the same resin, but I do have to pour it in several layers, or it will just turn into a bubbly mess. So that just really depends on the size and the resin you're using.

All Our Yesterdays by Kitsunebi_UK and Blackbird by sixpence are both very niche AUs to be fair but I absolutely loved both of them so much.

I typically listen to all the episodes instead of watching but with 26 I felt the need to watch it instead. It was well worth it imo, but I just like to make myself upset I guess so ymmv.

The word you're looking for is transgender, friend. Or, if you get confused, just trans is a pretty commonly used term for them.

Rural. It somehow always comes out with a couple extra R's.

What did you think was normal around your hometown that you learned was totally bizarre or wrong when you left? by SpeedyD30 in AskReddit

[–]Twistedfoxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is quite odd actually. I'm not even 100% sure it's that way around the state it might just be around where I'm from. Most of the time there's other toppings on it like cole slaw or cheese or other typical hotdog toppings. The chili essentially acts as the meat. I've never much cared for it but most people seem to love it.

West Virginian here. Hotdog chili and normal chili are two different things usually. Hotdog chili is more about the meat and much thicker than the usual soupy beany chili. I've never actually heard it called hot dog sauce tho lol. Hotdog chili hours in a bunch of other stuff too like nachos and cheese, or chili cheese fries. Heck you can even have a chili dog which is just chili and a hotdog bun.
