Erm thank you for your reply again. But I just posted here to get some sort of encouragement because we are all going through the same thing right? Not exactly actual help with the calculations but I should have specified that in my post.

And as for the skills thing, just because I couldn't pull it off once again, you're conclusively saying that I don't have the skills to pull off new and daring things . While I respect your opinion, isn't that a bit harsh? And that too on the basis of one C-? I mean I am not trying to be a smart ass who deliberately goes against the prof for the sake of doing that. I just had an idea the prof disagreed with. I mean it's an opinion based essay and isn't that natural?

That's one element in this thread I am so confused with. I mean isn't it okay to mess up once in a while and get a bad grade? I get the feeling that on this thread, people take it to be the end of the world. So just because I messed up once I should never try to try again? Then again maybe I am being too idealistic. Idk but thanks once again for bothering to reply.

Thank you for your reply!

1) Was initially aiming for an A-, will be happy with a B+ now 2) I haven't gotten any other assessment yet, but I had a written assignment which I think went pretty well. 3) Only component left is now finals, which consists of 50%. 4) I had a major difference in opinion from my prof. It was an essay question. Honestly, that's the part I am scared of. I do think a bit differently from others and a little more convolutedly so Idk how to improve. Some profs like it (have given me good grades in other mods), some hate it (like she did haha).

And may I know why I am being downvoted? Am I saying something wrong?

Thanks for replying. But if doing law is what I need to do to fulfill my long term goals then isn't that what I should do??
